I’m pretty confused by some of the reviews. I’ve been coming to this pharmacy for years and I’ve always been very satisfied…. but tonight I was helped by Janet and Mike and their level of customer service was above and beyond. I’m so grateful and pleased with the level of help and care. Easy 10 Stars ⭐️

I was told to come by in 1 hour. When I arrived to pick up my meds they said they couldn't help me cause they close for lunch in 5 minutes. I only needed one prescription and there was no line. I am from Ash Fork and now I have to wait in my truck another 30 after I've already been waiting an hour when they could have simply rung me up and still go to lunch on time. And of course when I go back 15 minutes before they're open now there's a line. Also the technician i talked to was the rudest pharmacy tech I've ever dealt with.

They just took it upon themselves to reach out to my doctor's office and ask for a new prescription be sent over. First of all, the doctor that prescribed that medication is not the same doctor's office they called. Secondly, I did not ask them to contact my doctor for a new RX (if I need a new RX I am capable of getting one all by myself). Lady was rude too boot.

This was the only place that would fill my dogs meds. I couldn’t afford the prices at the vet anymore so I started going to Walgreens but they couldn’t get certain meds. So I came here. I handed the written prescriptions over and they told me they could order them no problem. This was on a Thursday morning. Lady said they’d be ready by Monday. Cool. I go in Monday to get them and 3 of the 4 are ready. The 4th is still waiting on arrival. Lady said it’ll be there next day. I call them next day and lady I speak to says that the system isn’t even showing they’ve been ordered at all. So she orders them while on the phone with me and says they’ll be in next day. I call next day and the lady I speak to says they’re in but haven’t been filled yet. That they’ll be ready today though. So I wait about an hour and head in. Get there and now they can’t seem to find them. System says they’re in stock but there’s none on the shelf. At this point I’m pretty upset. So they say they’ll keep looking so I go to the parking lot and try my luck at other pharmacies but because of the holiday no one was open and those that were had none in stock. I give it another hour and go back in only to be told that they don’t actually have any in stock at all. So not only did they screw me over with ordering these important meds, they lie to me the entire time with ordering them and saying they’re ready. Now I’m having to go back to my vet and pray they’ll figure something out for me.

I have a prescription that cost $117.00 a month with insurance and is even more in Good RX. I was told by a male pharmacist and more recently a tech that they would call the Doctor office and see about them changing it from capsules which is a lot less. I waited a week and heard nothing and called the pharmacy. The tech who answered the phone told me .. " I don't know who would tell you that, we don't have time to make those calls". I told her thank you. I will be in to pick up my script as time has run out and I can't wait for a different script at this point as I am out of my meds This pharmacy has always been less than good and Walgreens isn't worth much either but this kind of disregard could really put a person in a terrible place. I will go into Prescott for my meds from now on.

Go to Chino Valley Pharmacy. This was place is inherently difficult if you rely on your medication. The prices, as listed in the reviews below, are also terrible and they force brand name medications. And then, they will lie to you and say it’s generic, multiple times over multiple months. Pharmacy technician will just argue, this woman believes she’s the pharmacist. Btw the Safeway manager was so nice but it wasn’t enough to leave.

Worst pharmacy ever. I've been on the phone with them so many times over the past 10 days and they still don't even have a record of the prescription I'm having called in, even after talking directly on the phone with the prescriber! I've been patient and organized with the information I've presented and the people I've talked to have been unprofessional, incompetent and occasionally rude. One laughed at me and told me directly that they lose stuff all the time and said "just have them call it in again, it's no big deal." Save yourself the frustration, go somewhere else for your medication, especially if it's important that you have it.

Not sure why I put up with the confusion, chaos, and stress over the past year but I’m finally switching from Safeway Pharmacy to another. In addition to 25 previous debacle’s, I called Safeway four days ago inquiring why I only received a text regarding one medication renewal when two of them were due to be renewed. I was told that one of them is on back order for “a few days“ I stated that this was OK because I plan on picking them both up in about three days. They said that should be fine. I arrived there this evening only to have one prescription ready for me and when I asked where the other one was; I was told that, not only has it been on back order, but that they have not received any shipments of this medication for “several months”! I’m a nurse and they have a responsibility to all patients to disclose any medication shipment or supply issues so patients can make other arrangements or speak to their doctor regarding other options. This is negligence and incompetence. I also believe that it was intentionally done so that I did not go to another pharmacy for this medication. When I very calmly told the tech in the pharmacy that I should have been made aware of this supply back order issue, she said “well now you know”. No customer service or sense of patient safety. Unprofessional and horrible.

If I could give this pharmacy a ZERO that is what it would be. Unfortunately my insurance goes through this pharmacy and it is so difficult, only once did they not screw up my order. I have to ask my Doctors to resend my orders twice …

Taking on three weeks for my meds. If they cared they would have gotten me my medications. They do not care for you. Across the street is walkgreens and they will love on you. Safeway in Chino is garbage!

I have had nothing but positive and helpful experience at this pharmacy. yes at times they do get very busy, but they can only do what they can do at times. I have had a mix up with my meds at times, but it isn't due to their fault, it has been the dr. I think they do a wonderful job with such a stressful job!

I'm with Kimberly on this place. They're the only game in town, they know it and make you pay for it. Fifteen years shopping here and still poorest service we've experienced anywhere. We call in prescriptions, get a promise it will be ready tomorrow and have to wait 3 hours to get it filled after getting there for pick up.

Note that they are closed 1:30 to 2:00 for lunch. Good pharmacy.
