We moved all of our prescriptions over to Safeway's pharmacy after Walgreens' service levels plummetted during Covid and never really recovered. Prescriptions are often ready within ONE HOUR of the doctor calling them in and if you need to call the pharmacy, they answer by the second ring. Walgreens will put you on hold over and over for 10 - 15 minutes. The pharmacy staff is SUPER NICE and genuinely interested in your well being, which is so refreshing! Do yourself a favor and fill your prescriptions here.

Peter helped me to fill a couple of prescriptions on a Sunday morning after a long night in the Emergency Room. He was professional, quick, & courteous and provided excellent service while running the Pharmacy solo. I will be transferring all of my future prescriptions to this location. Kasey is an amazing assistant. He always takes my calls and gets my prescriptions filled. If he can't he goes above and beyond calling other pharmacies to get them filled, and when I screw up and send one to the wrong pharmacy or ask for the wrong prescriptions to be filled he gets it corrected and turned around. All that and he does it with a smile on his face even when I'm exhausted. Peter is just as attentive. He answers all my questions and concerns, even if it's something as simple as to what my work best at the time or over the counter. Just an all around great team. I never used to go to Safeway, but now that I do I appreciate the real customer service that I get every time.

I've never felt the urge to review a pharmacy until dealing with the one inside Safeway at Ray and McQueen. The attention and warmth the pharmacists and staff offer every time i go is leagues above other pharmacies. They all truly seem to care. Thank you!

Pick up and go needs training when it comes to dealing with any issues. I canceled a Pick up order back in the beginning of July and the order is still listed as "ready to pickup " I even notified corporate and nobody knows how to get it removed. I just go to frys now. They are quick to pass the buck so I'll do the same and pass my bucks to Frys! Very disappointed!

Overall the staff is very good and helpful and knowledgeable. The medication text program to notify you of a medication to be refilled is HIGHLY FLAWED. I take many meds and did not realize I wasn't getting a drug I take daily. Thank God it wasn't a life or death drug. I have been having shortness of breath lately and just realized I was missing a medication that if not taking, causes shortness of breath. Here I find out their text system went down in November 2019 and a med I take was returned to stock with no text or phone call. Due to that flaw and not picking up the med, the system removed my med from reorder and no text or call has been made since I ran out of the med. I have learned not to depend on a computer, especially Safeway's refill text program. I now have all meds listed on my cell phone to assure I get each medication I take daily.

Went to Safeway tonight around 8:30 pm and there were no cash registers open. Waited in line behind 6 other people to use self checkout. If I wanted to be a cashier I would have gone to Walmart.

Pharmacy people are great but severely understaffed. Went to pick meds on 4 separate occasions and couldn't because the only staff member was doing vaccines. I wouldn't recommend doing any business here.

The staff is AWFUL. Recently moved to the area after many years of using a different pharmacy. Sometimes you don't know how good you had it until it's gone. The lady I dealt with was down right rude, quoted wrong information about my medicine, then realized I was right and was rude about it. Then put me on hold for 7 minutes and hung up on me.

Doctor called in prescription for my daughter. They didn’t have the medication, wouldn’t have it in till Monday. Amanda went above and beyond and called until she found a Safeway Pharmacy with it in stock. On a Saturday no less! Thank you!!!
