I’m very satisfied with the service at Walmart pharmacy here on Smith Rd., In Denver. Pharmacist and the help behind the counter are very efficient. They get things done.

Tl;dr, the head pharmacist, Abe, is on a gigantic power trip (peak “big boss of little things” energy). I just learned last week that I have a fatal form of Parkinson’s, which, at 40, leaves me with about 3-5 years left. Even though I informed him of this, I was still lectured (several times!) for improperly centering the tender, bruised superiority of a man and his staff for their own communication failings. I’ve had an issue with the quantity of a medication for the last month. Every single time I called this pharmacy about this medication, I was told incorrect information. After two weeks of this, and after being told on the phone it was now ready, I spent $15 in a Lyft to come grab it. However, once there, I was again told it wasn’t ready. I finally became emotional. I didn’t yell at anyone, or say anything personally insulting, but I was upset. But Abe refused to commiserate or apologize. Two more weeks went by. I was back at the pharmacy (same problem; still no resolution), and was nevertheless about to *leave* with another med, not upset at all, when he pulled me aside to keep me from leaving, and lectured me like I was a child. Yet, even though I told him I just received my crushing diagnosis just last week, it was not my emotions that needed tending to; instead,. He held up his own line, and then blamed me for it — which is honestly the most perfect metaphor for this entire interaction. I only asked that he communicate with me as a peer, but, whether because I’m a woman, poor, or ill, he seemed fully unable to do so. This man is condescending, paternalistic, and petty. Heaven help you if even one thing is off on your meds, because he’ll waste 30 mins of your time and his to try to make you feel like it’s all YOUR fault, dear patient, for being sick in the first place. No patient should ever feel humiliated just for trying to secure the medication they need.

I LOVE this Walmart Pharmacy. CONSISTENTLY over the past 4 years... prompt, professional, caring and knowledgeable. Prescriptions are always ready quickly and communicated when ready via text. Yesterday, they filled my prescription upon submitting the script in less than 3 minutes! Every single staff member at this pharmacy cares deeply about customer service and fast service. They seem to like their job (which I know can be very stressful!) I am so grateful for every pharmacy employee! I have to think it's the pharmacy management that has created such a positive environment because it's all pharmacy employees. Thank you!

I’m not a Walmart customer but got my prescriptions filled here after reading good reviews. The pharmacists were all very friendly and I didn’t have to wait on hold when I called a few times to check on the status. They were able to get a prescription that was out of stock pretty quickly and they were very helpful in transferring over my prescriptions from out of state. Glad to have friendly service in the neighborhood.

Not a huge fan of this wal-mart but the pharmacy in it is great, never any problems with my prescriptions. It sends me text reminders to refill my prescriptions and it is pretty convenient when u have to wait for a prescription because you can shop while you wait and check out when you pick up your script. Also the guy that helps me usually Suresh is really cool.

Not the fault of the staff btw but Walmart, through sheer corporate greed and a lifelong hatred of humanity has single handedly curated the single worst customer experience on earth. I needed a pair of socks and to pick up a prescription but the socks were locked up, no one could help me get them for over half an hour. They didn't even start filling my prescription till I got there and it took them over an hour because Walmart won't hire enough people. Getting literally two things at Walmart took me over two hours. I'm still in the parking lot. People in hell are forced to work and shop at Walmart. And I hope everyone in corporate chokes on spiders in their sleep.

The pharmacists and staff here are very helpful, compassionate, and courteous even when they're busy. I've had several occasions where they've helped me with late fills and even assisted with getting additional information from my provider in getting a more effective and available prescription. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Got here 5 minutes before their lunch. They couldn’t manually input my card despite having the information ready. I ran out to my car to grab my card which took two minutes. And they locked up in that time frame despite me RUNNING and telling them I would be right back. It was incredibly rude.

My one star was generous. I’ve never had a Walmart employee be so rude as I did in this store. We are visiting from out of town and ran in to grab a few snacks and some medicine. The store announced it would be closing in 5 minutes so I quickly went down the medicine isle to grab some cough drops on my way up to the register, and suddenly found myself being yelled at by an employee. “The store is closed!!! You need to LEAVE!!!!”

Pharmacy staff are always so kind! I know they are a busy pharmacy, but they always make me feel welcome and are available to answer questions.
