Milbridge Pharmacy

On July 28th while on vacation I accidentally cut my hand. After being refuse help from Milbridge Medical Center. I went to Milbridge Pharmacy seeking help. Andy the pharmacist was very helpful . He provided a powder to help stop the bleeding and provided advice. Andy is a compassionate professional and was extremely helpful. Milbridge is fortunate to have such a professional, friendly and helpful pharmacist. Thank you, Andy

A great staff to work with the Owner is most usually there. Once you become a regular, you are greeted by your first name when you approach the counter.

In the last 6 years I'll bet that I have had probably 6 or 700 prescriptions filled there and haven't had one single problem with any of them!! Andy is an EXCELLENT pharmacist and takes time to explain every new prescription that someone gets, warns of possible side effects and so on and so forth. All of the ladies that work there are nice and very polite. Great small-town pharmacy!!

Recently, I’ve picked up 2 prescriptions from the Milbridge Pharmacy and each time the pharmacist was exceptionally kind and thorough while answering my many questions. I really needed to understand how the medication was to be used, and he took the time to ensure I did. Thankful to have this resource close to home!

Top notch pharmacy and best of small town service! Not only does the pharmacist and other associates know their stuff but they went above and beyond recently to reduce the cost of an elderly family members expensive medication by spending the time and effort to look for a manufacturer's coupon. Pharmacist Andy pays great attention to detail concerning one's prescription needs including (if need be) quickly helping the customer to find what they need in store. The entire staff are warm, welcoming and always friendly & just as helpful. During Covid they had/have safety procedures in place, you call when you arrive, no need to get out of your vehicle as they will bring your medication out and set it on the hood of your vehicle with their proper masks being worn. It's my understanding they do some delivery as well locally to those who cannot medically/physically make it into the pharmacy themselves. The pharmacy is dated, but that's what I find so very charming and comfortable. They have lots of other things to purchase in store from toiletries, vitamins, bandages, glasses, to old fashioned candy sticks, handcrafted jewelry, ornaments, local Maine gifts and a great selection of cards. If I was to make one suggestion it would be to switch as many birthday cards to the entry aisle side as there were a few so I didn't realize for a long time the wider selection of birthday cards are actually on the other side where typically customers are leaving the store. If you want a pharmacist and staff that care enough to get to know you by name, genuinely pay attention to your needs, and go above and beyond when possible, this may be your place!

Small town pharmacy with all of the best attributes of a small town pharmacy. Friendly, helpful staff with a peach of a boss! Who just happens to be not only the pharmacist but the owner as well.

I cannot recommend Milbridge Pharmacy, it's ppl and Andy the Pharmacist enough! He (Andy) came in and took over for Clyde, the former owner, and has made himself so indepensible, learning everyone and who they are related to, their needs and what they prefer medicine wise. He has also moved the business to modern times so now ppl can pay with a card instead of needing cash. Truthfully if you are looking for a pharmacy in a pinch OR permanently Andy and Co at the Milbridge pharmacy is your best choice, highly knowledgeable, friendly always greeting you by name once they learn it and you, and make sure you are comfortable with your medicines ESPECIALLY if it is your first time being given it. 10 out of 10 WOULD AND DO RECOMMEND!
