I've had good experiences with this pharmacy so far. I only get one medication and it's not anything special, but so far my deliveries have been very prompt and the service has been good. They called me to see if I wanted a refill when it was time, rather than making me call in. I have had to use another mail-in pharmacy before through Beaumont, and they were awful.
I don’t really leave reviews but I wanted to say how outstanding this pharmacy is. I used it for all my IVF meds and the process with them has been smooth. They were able to find out that I had insurance to cover the meds (I didn’t even know I had, which was a bonus). They accidentally charged me for a med and I didn’t realize it till they called me and apologized and refunded me right away. They could have been shady and just kept the money and I would have just assumed that’s the cost because that’s the nature of IVF but I appreciate their honesty and integrity. My meds were always delivered on time except I did have some issues with tracking and a med being left out too long but pharmacist, Moe, was super understanding and empathic and sent me a new one right away. The call team is good (especially this one young man in particular- don’t remember his name but super nice and knowledgeable). I would suggest for any med making sure that they provide tracking and sometimes the call team will transfer you a bunch of times to different departments and back but just keep with it till you get ahold of someone that’s knowledgeable. Same goes for the pharmacist- most of them are fantastic but I’ve had to call again to get someone I felt understood my particular case. Other than that I really like this pharmacy and felt they really went above and beyond and have no problems using them again.
I have been so frustrated with this pharmacy. The only reason it gets two stars instead of one is because the people I've spoken to on the phone have truly been kind to me. But none of that matters if I don't get my meds. My insurance plan requires that we go through Pharmacy Advantage for regular meds or they will not cover them. I am now on my second bout of withdrawals because it takes forever to get a prescription filled. My current Rx has said "In Process" for three days now. My diabetic husband routinely goes without his medications. Some are filled twice, while others are constantly "out of refills". I miss Walgreen's.
Do not use !!!! I gave my personal information to someone after calling for my medication update and they have no notation of the call I don’t know who I gave my information too confidential medical information it was their company I called I’m waiting for a response almost a month. When I called the third time I was put on a hold while in mid conversation and he transferred me to someone without telling me who I was being transferred too SHADY SHADY people working there RUDE and unprofessional would not recommend
Far too much wasteful packaging. One simple, padded envelope will do just fine for one vial of pills, not the gargantuan padding with cold pack. All this does is increase shipping costs and clog landfills.
No thank you in me wasting anymore of my time trying to work out the flaws in your system and the lack of training you give your employees that I have heard multiple times from speaking with them. Thanks to you I will be out of my blood pressure medication until delivery. While the people I have talked to have been nice on the phone, they are unable to fill prescriptions in a timely manner. As I have called a couple of times to check the status of refills I requested and it has been 5 days and they still show as being refilled. I have had to cut my dosage to try and keep at least taking something for my high blood pressure. Also, I have tried a dozen times to verify my phone number for texts by typing Y and it never verifies, I have also talked to someone about this at least 5 times and they always say, you should be receiving a text and just reply Y to it and you will be set now. I either never receive a text or the same results as above happen. This is absolutely a miserable experience where the lack of answers or the ability to fill prescriptions has failed on every level. I will be transferring my prescriptions back to a real pharmacy after this nightmare. I have spent enough time trying to get things worked out with them to no avail.
They take waaay to long to ship and I always run of of meds before they arrive. I spent half an hour being transferred to 3 different people, just for them to tell me there's nothing they can do.
I have used several mail orders pharmacies and with out a doubt Pharmacy Advantage is the solid leader in my book. They are very polite, if I'm busy and ask them to call me back tomorrow or in a couple of days, they will. If I feel the need to talk to a manage, I can. Their agents are well spoken and knowledgeable. If you're looking to make a switch because you are not satisfied with your current pharmacy, Pharmacy Advantage is the one you're looking for. I had to switch to this pharmacy for one of my sons specialty compound medications and it's been an awful experience. For 2/3 times the medications hasn't been filled correctly. It's a compound medications that requires being mixed correctly and it's come unmixed. Absolutely unacceptable. When patients can't choose the specialty pharmacy they want to use and instead have to use a pharmacy like this it's absolutely maddening. And now I'm being told I will probably have to visit a Henry Ford hospital location to get the medication mixed correctly ....!!???? Um, no. Pharmacy advantage needs to fix this problem and needs to have a better system in place. I honestly don't even understand how something like this can happen. How is someone packaging a medication for delivery and not ensuring it's correct before sending it out?
They are helping me get New life giving me hope for better life I thank you all so much for this chance of being healthy.and my Dr......
