BARONS DRUG STORE

If I could give zero stars I WOULD!!!!! Me and my friend are very disappointed in the customer service here. We walked in just to grab some candy and not to mention we got many nasty glances in the store by ONE worker there. When i was going up to buy my candy, i didn’t know that the price had to be over $1 to use debit. (Also not to mention a week ago I was at barons and that was not the case) The lady at the register asked me if i wanted to get something else to make the price $1. I looked around and having a line behind me and being put on the spot I just said, “never mind I won’t get anything”. The lady snatched my candy right out of my hands and in the nastiest rudest tone she said , “OK, bye” and just completely ignored me. I can’t even explain how unseen and stupid I felt. Not to mention many people that I know have gotten BANNED, YES BANNED. As not even TEENAGERS. Just for trying to buy candy. I find this crazy and I have been coming to barons for so long and I’m so sad to have to be making this review. This is the rudest and worst experience I’ve EVER had at any place in my LIFE. Also the lady who I had this interaction should not be working at a place where kids come EVERYDAY if she gets that pissed of at one single misunderstanding. I hate to say that I will be coming back but if I get banned for standing up for myself to that lady I wouldn’t be surprised. If your going to be that rude and annoyed at children, that not to mention ARE PAYING YOU maybe don’t work at a candy store. Every time I’ve ever had an interaction with this lady she’s never even TRIED to say “hi” or even ask me how my day was. This lady has no manners. Sorry to vent but something had to be said.

We have shopped at Baron's since moving to Westfield almost 40 years ago. The pharmacists and staff are always very helpful and we appreciate the wide range of merchandise, from toiletries to stationery to balloons. We love the balloons!

This is a great pharmacy and store to go to. The pharmacist are very knowledgeable, and they always have time to answer your questions. The staff is friendly, and they have many products in their store, some cards to candies to send used to basic drugstore staples. It is a great home town pharmacy.

A worker ther I don’t the her name yelled at me when accidentally tossing something at my friend that caused us to leave. We later came back and I purchased a water and a different worker made my fitness leave when not doing anything. We then where just talking outside the store not doing anything to cause trouble the the first worker I mentioned started to film me without consent and when I confronted her about it she denied to delete the video she said no and told me to get out of her store. The cashiers were very nice and respectful but the other workers ruined my day

Best drugstore around and pharmacist is extremely helpful and staff is pleasant. If I could give them more than 5 star I would!

Local drug store has a better greeting card selection than Walmart! Lots of gifts and snacks. Great service too.

I booked my appointment at 12:15pm and went to Barons in Cranford (oops) and drove to Westfield. I arrived at 12:30pm and checked in. You can print and fill out the forms at home or they will print in store. At 12:44pm I received my shot and I am waiting the required 15 minutes to be sure I don’t faint from the J&J(Jannsen) COVID 1 dose vaccine. It could happen. I did feel a little light headed 5 minutes in so I am glad I waited! Michael Cleary, RPh was very personable and very funny. The staff is great also. Quick and easy. They have vitamins, supplements, bandages, creams, and all your pharmacy needs. The store attached to the pharmacy has lottery, gifts, toys, candy, cards, games, etc. It is very clean and nice. Anna

I loved this store very much I am very disappointed. My friend cried for an hour after leaving this place. After we left the barons the woman with black hair continued to follow us out and then take pictures of us. My friend(African American) found this very offensive because we thought this was very racially motivated. She proceed to say that she was going to post us on Facebook. She then told us she was taking a picture of the shoe store and we said “no u weren’t “ we got a mom to go in there to talk to her and she said she was taking a picture of the corner. WHAT WE WERE ON and not the shoe store so she swelling up on her own lie. I will not be every entering this pharmacy again not spreading not to and posting storytimes on social media.

I received my first Moderna vaccine through Baron’s last Thursday. The pharmacist and assistant were both very friendly and helpful. Additionally, it was one of the least painful shots I have ever received. I chalk this up to the pharmacist being very good at shot giving. I have friends who have received Moderna and the shot hurt-I really think it matters who administers it (in terms of how much it hurts). I will trust the pharmacist at Baron’s for any immunizations I need in the future. I’m very pleased.

They have the best staff members ever. They're really nice and very helpful. It's my favorite store in town because it's the friendliest place in town. Every time i buy something I get a small gift and the service is just amazing.

Great service and prices on my Rx. A wide selection of other services for retail and package drop off that makes it very convenient. Web site needs a little bit of work to have the estimated time when the Rx is ready. This is one of the few remaining old time Rx that doesn't charge extra for home delivery.
