Very grateful for the young man that works in the pharmacy, I believe his name is Carlos. While my diabetic son was traveling way out of state he ran out of insulin. I had just picked up his current supply in NJ making him unable to use our insurance to get insulin in CA because of frequency. There was no allowance for lost/ emergency doses with our plan. Carlos showed me an app to help my son on the other side of the country buy his life-saving medication for $80; grossly discount from its typical $300. I was so relieved when my son texted not 2 hours later that he was able to pick up the insulin for $80. Carlos is such a nice young man. He’s a hard worker and knowledgeable in what he does. Thank you!
Speaking to the manager at the pharmacy was like speaking to the walking dead. My prescription was not covered under insurance, when I asked the pharmacist if there would perhaps be a cheaper similar medicine that would be covered, he could not provide me with any details to assist. What a waste of my time!
I needed an antibiotic for an infection that my doctor called in. The pharmacy technician was irritated that when I approached the counter to pick it up, he seemed flustered and annoyed to have another task to do. He rolled his eyes and said I would need to wait a little longer. I could tell he was having a busy day, but this is a task he is hired and paid to perform. Customers shouldn’t be made to feel like they’re an inconvenience. The rest of the team was phenomenal and I greatly appreciate their work
If you like pharmacies where there’s never anyone at a register and when they slowly walk to it to check you out while acting like they’re doing you a favor while displaying little to no people skills. Or , picking up a prescription that’s been delayed several days because it’s everyone’s fault but theirs (it was Walgreens, btw) then this is the location for you. No one knows what they’re doing. Worst pharmacy top to bottom in Hamilton.
Absolute co confusion at the pharmacy, given wrong dose of Cipro antibiotic - 500 mg 2x daily, and I was supposed to receive 250mg 4x. I needed it spaced out in 4doses because I get sick from antibiotics, and taking the higher dose 2xdaily was done in error because if my severe gastric stomach issues with absorption. In topic that, I'm put in hold 2x for over an hour, and WAS HUNG UP IN BOTH CALLS. Rudeness us all they gave me on the phone, as if I was ruining their day trying to get a script there for my 1st, AND LAST time going there. Going back to CVS as I only went there due to my usual CVS, and all other CVS'S within a 12 mile radius dif not have that medicine available in any of their stores. Huge disappointment!🙄🤔😤
I guess they call it a 24 hr pharmacy because that's how long you have to wait in line to drop off or pick up......Worst customer service of any pharmacy of any! 1 pharmacist works while 2 others just idly stand by talking and complaining to each other about everything and 6 customers wait in line and 3 in drive thru. I gave up after being the first in line for over 10 minutes waiting to drop off a prescription to be picked up later..... If you don't want to work there do us all a favor and LEAVE !!! With sky high prices and service like this no wonder the mail order pharmacies are becoming more used.... The drug companies and pharmacies are all thieves Walgreens & CVS charges us $100's a pill that gets made in batches of 100,000 a time using the excuse that it takes "skill & training" to read the name of a drug on a piece of paper match it up to a big bottle and then count out the number listed on the same paper into a smaller bottle print the label put it in a bag and give to us.....Give me a break !!! This store makes this ripoff even more oblivious than most.....
Some good workers, but VERY inconsistent. Still waiting for 5 days now for a refill. Have been told twice it was in only to show up in person to find out that was not true. I have had enough. Time to switch to a new pharmacy.
This pharmacy is downright negligent. They don’t answer their phones EVER. They don’t fill prescriptions when they’re supposed to, there’s one pharmacist working at any time, the line is 20 people deep. They’re going to kill someone, let’s just hope it’s not you.
Was just there and drive up employee was so rude....the Walgreens pharmacy on klockner rd was closed and the sign said to go to paxen ave when we went there our prescription was not there and i was told to call my dr when i explained to the girl what the sign said she said "i dont know i didnt make the sign" boy what customer service NOT
Try to get someone over the phone for the past 5 hours they answer and hang up on you good luck finding what you need and if you have any rx they will give you hard time for it you will regret going there go to cvs across the street better customer service and nicer people to deal with and its 24 hours!! Shame on you walgreen big shame on you !!!!
