Walgreens Pharmacy

Terrible customer service. Instructed to call before picking up prescription, gave 1 hour notice as instructed , they weren’t aware to fill the Rx. I spoke to 3 different people to confirm I wanted it filled. Never filled the RX. Asked to transfer the Rx and was told the other pharmacy will see it in the system, but isn’t it under the Hillsborough pharmacy , will they know to fill it automatically ? 😟

I rushed from urgent care to pick up my prescription and arrived 5-minutes before closing. They told me that my prescription was ready, but they could not give it to me because they were already "closed". They advised me to drive to Somerville Walgreens instead, so I had to take more time out of my day. Another time, I went to pick up a prescription and when I arrived they told me they only have part of my prescription (which was fine with me). They told me to sit and wait about 5-10 minutes as they filled the prescription. I quickly ran to the restroom while waiting, so I'm not sure if they called my name while I was there. Multiple employees made eye contact with me, so I know they knew I was there waiting. After about 15 minutes, I couldn't wait any longer and had to leave. I told another employee that I would just come back another time. She said, "Oh wait, give me your name and I'll see if it's ready." My prescription was ready and just sitting in the bin. How long were they going to let me sit there waiting rather than telling me my prescription was ready? I just feel as though they do not respect the time of the customers.

If I could give ZERO stars I absolutely would. I am 6 months pregnant with epilepsy. I called got my medication re fill 3-4 days ago. I get a call yesterday it was ready. To arrive and it was NOT. It hadn’t even been initiated. I told them how it isn’t fair as a pregnant person especially to be so long without my medication and not a shrivel of remorse of empathy for having to go another day. This is not the first time with them either.

Don’t listen to the bad reviews. I began suffering from sever mental illness about a year ago and they’ve been very understanding and helpful. I always have a question for the pharmacist and he’s always completely helpful. I even bring my husband there when he almost needed stitches and they walked us through how to fix it ourself with glue and butterfly bandages. People will write bad reviews based on a doctor not calling in an RX or just plain ignorance. Wonderful pharmacy and staff UPDATE- I still love them. They always give me emergency refills and never let me go into withdrawals. Always very kind and to the point. Great pharmacy and I’m lucky I ended up going with them. Very grateful.

There is something about this specific location. The other walgreens I've gone too have been great experiences. The pharmacy is run by what appears to be highschool kids or young 20's somethings who would rather talk and giggle to each other than help the several people standing in line. The pharmacist in charge seems to just want to do what she can do with filling prescriptions while the rest of the kids just goof off and let the line continue to accumulate. Get your meds filled somewhere else.

This is NOT a pharmacy, I don't know what business they are in but they can't seem to keep most common prescription meds in stock and will never call you or even bother to mention when you call in that something is out of stock. Complete waste of time and suffering waiting for your mon-existent meds. This place is only decent if you're shopping for overpriced cosmetics or junk food.

First time I did a reservation for my first COVID shot online and they didn’t have the res. when I got there and made me fill out all my info again in person. Then when I came back 3 weeks later, they once again lost my info and I ended up filling it out AGAIN. The retail here is fine but the pharmacy consistently fails to perform.

I absolutely hate the pharmacy and pharmasists they are mostly rude and condescending especially one of them who's name is Tom. The actual store itself is clean, never crowded, not very helpful or knowledgeable but what can you expect when your staff consists of high school kids and rude pharmasist myself as we as several other people I have spoken to have filed corporate complaints against him and for good reason. He acts as though he knows better than your doctor. So if you happen to get Tom just nod hand ✋ him the cash and quickly walk 🚶 away don't engage him in any type of conversation and you'll be ok. The store has everything from silicone or water based lubricants to gummy bears.

Awful pharmacy. My dr sent a prescription over 3 days ago and they said they haven't received it. The one pharmacy tech is always rude. I'm not sure why they keep her. As soon as I can I am switching pharmacies

Bound Brook is the worst! Hillsborough Walgreens is great!
