I highly recommend using another Walgreens. We moved here in June and I transferred all of my scripts to this store. The pharmacists and technicians at this store have caused more issues with my prescriptions than any other pharmacy I've used before. My mother in-law is a pharmacist at another Walgreens. Every time this store makes an error or lies to me, I am always aware and constantly frustrated. I am going to explain the biggest issues I've encountered in painful detail. 1) I use a GLP-1. My doctor submitted my last script two weeks before I needed it, because these medications must be special-ordered and experience delays. I called the pharmacy a week after my refill was ordered. The technician said they never received my script, but my Walgreens app stated it was in their system. My doctor sent a new script over anyways. I waited three business days for the pharmacy to fill my order. By then, I was due for my next dose. I called the pharmacy, and the technician told me they didn't have my medication because there was a market shortage (not true). I could either request a lower dose, or find another Walgreens with my dose in stock. Why did I only find out about this the day I was due to take it? My doctor wrote a script for a lower dose, which would take three more business days to fill. Two hours later, the pharmacy actually filled the original script for my higher dose. It was in stock and at their store the whole time. What happened to this "market shortage"? 2) I take beta blockers. I requested a refill from my cardiologist before going on a week-long vacation. My doctor accidentally sent it to my old pharmacy. I went to this store and asked them to fill it at their pharmacy. In their system, the technician is supposed to cancel the order, pull the script from the wrong Walgreens, and transfer it to their store. Instead, this technician placed a second order for my beta blockers. My insurance refused to cover the second order, because in their system I'm ordering 60 pills when I'm only supposed to get 30. The technician told me to call the other pharmacy and ask them to cancel my order (she can do that on her computer, but made it my responsibility). She also told me to call my insurance and explain the issue (there is a button she can click on her computer to revoke the duplicate order and update my insurance, but she chose not to). I had to leave for an event, so I chose to resolve the issue later. While we were out, I got a text telling me my script had actually been filled at their store. I called the pharmacy to make sure, and the pharmacist answered the phone and confirmed it was ready. Awesome! On the way home, we stopped by the store to get my medication. The technician said my order wasn't ready. I told her the pharmacist said otherwise. The pharmacist stepped in and said she called me back after our first call to inform me it wasn't actually ready. I never received a second call from their store. I showed them my call logs. No calls, no texts, no voicemails. They didn't have a response. I was forced to purchase the pills without insurance because the pharmacy was almost closed and our flight was 9:00 am the next day. As a compromise, they gave me a coupon to make my script $30 when it's usually less than $10 - how nice of them! 3) Today, another doctor accidentally sent a script to my old Walgreens. I went to this pharmacy and asked them to transfer my script to their store. Instead of cancelling the script at the old pharmacy and transferring it to their store, the technician placed a duplicate order of my medication instead. Once again, my insurance refused to cover it, because in their system I was ordering twice the allowed amount. Without telling me, the technician applied a coupon to make it "cheaper", but it was still $20 more than what it should've been with insurance. My mother in-law needed to call the store and teach them how to properly perform a transfer. I cannot imagine how many other patients they've overcharged or misled. Please be careful with this store.

Wouldn’t recommend for picking up prescriptions. The deals for items are good so this is a good place for anything over the counter. But the pharmacy doesn’t seem to have prescriptions status accurately linked to the Walgreens app. I never had this problem at the Walgreens in Princeton.

Very disorganized. Twice they had me go over saing medicines are ready to pickup but both times they had not cleared it with insurance. They also have a lot of difficulty contacting my doctor for refills. Haven't had this issue with any other pharmacy

It’s one thing for insurance to deny service. But, completely another for a completely legitimate and legal prescription to be refused by a pharmacy. I was blown away when the pharmacist said that she was going to refuse to fill my medication with no reason other than she did not want to. I called my insurance, and they told me that the pharmacist do have the right to deny service, even with no legal justification. This shocked me. Especially given the fact that I had to call insurance just to use a different Pharmacy. I called the pharmacy. They said give them a couple hours and they would refill my medicines. When I went to the pharmacy and provided my insurance, I was told that the pharmacist did not want to fill the prescription because she believed it was too much of the drug. Period I understand her concern. However, I have been on this dose for many years. My insurance has always paid and I’ve never had a problem. Until now. Even if the insurance approves, the pharmacy can deny. This is shocking in my opinion. It makes me fear that the media may be correct. And, Medicaid and Medicare is in serious trouble.

The only reason I use this pharmacy is because it is the only choice for my Medicare. They often forget to fill my prescription when I order through their email notice and can never locate my prescription when I go to pick it up. But today, the pharmacist was incredibly rude to the man behind me. He had dropped off a prescription and told it would be ready in 20 min. He came to the counter after getting a text that it was ready. He was waiting behind me. The pharmacist refused to serve him and told him repeatedly that he had to come back at 2:00 because they were on lunch break. He reminded her that they had told him to come back in 20 minutes and he waited in the store the entire time for that reason. It would have taken her 2-3 minutes to serve him but she refused. So glad that Medicare will allow me to switch to CVS.

The worse pharmacy I’ve ever encountered; they deserve 0 stars & their pharmacists are beyond rude & they lie about everything. It’s absolutely disgusting how they treat patients there. SO RUDE. They demand I split my medications then I have to waste time and money and gas to see my doc again to get the rest of my medication from a new script. They also refused to dispense my OVERDUE meds, and said that future medication would not be dispensed without medical records. They wouldn’t even help me transfer my medications to another pharmacy until I had to yell at them. Absolutely appalled by their work ethics refusing patients medications.

I go to this pharmacy only because it’s the closest to my family home. I’m a very patient person, so believe me that this pharmacy is on my last nerve. On Sunday noon, I call them for a refill on my prescription, they say it will take one hour. That’s fine, I have waited for longer. Besides, my prescription is in a package, there’s nothing for them to measure. I come in at around 2pm, they say it will take some more time. I’m a little annoyed but fine, maybe they are very busy today. I notice they close at 6 so I decide to come back at 5:30, more than enough time to find 3 packages worth of my prescription, print out my name, and have it ready, right? NOO! Apparently, I have to wait until Monday to get it. It’s Tuesday now and I’m pretty sure it’s still not filled out because I haven’t gotten a notification yet. I’m a college student, I can’t afford to be going back and forth between my college and my house in the hopes that they have filled it out. I’m on the texting option but it doesn’t work properly so I have to play this goose game. I’m on my last week of my prescription. Thank God I have people who can drop off my prescription to me and I don’t rely on my prescription for my life. Imagine those who might be in my situation except their medication is life-sustaining. This seems extremely careless on Walgreens part. If it’s an issue of the pharmacist or pharmacy techs being overwhelmed, whoever’s in charge needs to have an overhaul on their system so they get the prescriptions out in a timely manner. I’m giving two stars because at least the pharmacy tech I interacted with (older man) was very nice to me and had good customer service.

I'll echo all of the other negative reviews, it's a total clown show. The amount of times I've shown up after getting a message my prescription is ready only to be told they don't have it is staggering. As other reviews have also said, the staff is rude and unprofessional. It's just an awful store run by miserable people.

The pharmacy is TERRIBLE. My infant son needed 0.7 ml of medicine and they gave me this big syringe which was impossible to measure 0.7 on a 5 ml syringe. I asked for a smaller syringe and she said no. I went back to pick up my own prescription, they couldn’t find it and told me to come back later, so I did. They didn’t look for it and the pharmacist just redid it. They are slow, won’t help you with medication discounts, and does not show any respect for your time and wellbeing. Zero stars for customer service. We went to CVS and were floored at how wonderful it is in comparison.

The service at this pharmacy is so bad. It was a 2-hour travel covid NAAT test, but it took almost 6 hours for the results to arrive in the email, after 4 unsuccessful phone calls, and then sitting in the store waiting for the results to finally arrive. The clerk kept saying it wasn't her fault. Was it the customer's fault? If you don't want to delay your flight, you'd better go somewhere else

This pharmacy is very disappointing in terms of its service and ethics. Even though it is closest to my home, I will never use this pharmacy again but rather drive a bit further away to use other pharmacies. …
