Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy

Used to LOVE this pharmacy for its customer service and accessibility; we moved all our Rx's here several years ago. However, with the sale and consolidation of Walgreens, its not what it was. They have now disconnected themselves from the Walgreens app/website. For years I was able to manage my husband's complicated Rx's online. Not any more. There's no autofill, no online ordering, and no notification of long-time customers that this had happened. So now if you want to get your next refill on an existing Rx, you have to CALL or visit in person. In today's online environment, this is nuts - and it makes managing multiple Rx's an absolute nightmare. I can only surmise that this 'Walgreens' pharmacy will eventually close as part of the long-term Walgreens consolidation. And we'll have to move our Rx's somewhere else. Very disappointing.

The pharmacists here r exceptionally friendly, personable, helpful, informative, & efficient. Most go the extra mile 2 gv u impt related or pertinent info & 2 get extra refills approved & coverage fr ur insurance, as well as arranging the soonest-possible delivery. Almost always a pleasure 2 talk w them & deal w them!

I have for YEARS, gone to this pharmacy, as it was REQUIRED of me due to "specialty medications" I have prescribed to maintain my health and life. For YEARS, I have encountered NOTHING other than INCOMPETANCE at this pharmacy. I literally cannot think of ONE TIME, I was advised that my 8-11 prescription medications were 'ready for pick up', and were not. These incompetents seem to believe that people have the time and means to continually come back to pick the remaining part of their order, when these incompetents decide they can attain the completion of the order they had already advised me was all complete and available. I could go on and on about the NIGHTMARE, I have experienced not only with this WalGreens pharmacy but others in my area over the past 5+ years. Again I am FORCED to go to WalGreens by my insurance provider Blue Cross Blue Shield, despite my advising them of the CONTINUAL incompetence I encounter, they have no acceptable alternative. My resolution, and I highly suggest others do the same if they too encounter what I have, is file complaints with your insurance provider, AND The Arizona Pharmacy Board. At minimum the issues with this pharmacy and WalGreens pharmacies as a whole are documented and appropriate regulatory agencies made aware of such. Perhaps that might elicit a change, however I have little confidence that it will, but at minimum one can have documentation of the issue.

Great service! Staff is kind and very communicative, space is clean and location is accessible. Parking is not too intuitive or abundant, but when you find it, the rest of the client experience is worth it.

I've used this location for over 10 years. They are always professional and very helpful.

First time patient here - I’ve recently had a very hard time getting one of my prescriptions refilled. Every pharmacy I’ve contacted has been out of stock for some time, with no update as to when they will be able to restock. This Community Pharmacy is the ONLY pharmacy in town that was able to help me get this filled, and they did it in such a timely manner!! And in addition to that, it’s a clean and friendly place, and the pharmacists were extremely responsive, friendly, and accommodating. 10/10!! I may end up switching all of my prescriptions to this place, even though it’s a little further away than my usual pharmacy is!!

This pharmacy is AMAZING! I've had such a hard time with my insurance and filling a specialty prescription over the past few months but every time I've dealt with Community Pharmacy, especially Monica and Susan, they have been so nice and helpful! They're patient. They follow-through. They go above and beyond to help and get what is needed. I'm so very grateful and will recommend them to anyone!

The staff here is beyond any other pharmacy I've ever been to. They've repeatedly gone beyond expectations. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and Jeff always makes my day with his kindness.
