They are very overwhelmed, and because of this, their quality of service suffers. My prescription was sent in almost a week before I came to pick it up, and it *still* hadn’t been filled. They don’t provide any way to check on prescription stays electronically, and they are difficult to get on the phone. I want to support a small pharmacy, but this one just doesn’t meet the standard anymore.
So attentive, friendly and caring and competent!! They really watch out for you- gives you information and get the least expensive form of your medicine . If there is no refill left, they call the doctor for you to get more! And if prior authorization from the insurance is required, they also let the doc know. Love this pharmacy! In my view, the best pharmacy in Boulder County! It won’t disappoint P. Hamlin
The staff at Boulder Medical Center pharmacy is top notch. They are always so helpful, pleasant and professional. This little pharmacy packs a punch- Karen, Dan et al are 5 stars. Carroll
All of the pharmacists and entire staff are awesome! They are all very smart and very friendly. They always answer my questions with clarity and fill my scripts fast. They are the best!
**1 Star** Had an extremely disappointing experience that I felt compelled to share. I was notified that my prescription was ready for pickup, only to arrive and discover they didn't actually have the medication I needed for a medical procedure scheduled for the next day. While trying to resolve this urgent issue by calling my doctor from the pharmacy, I was repeatedly interrupted and harassed by multiple staff members who seemed more concerned about moving the line along than addressing their mistake. I had already waited an hour due to their error in notifying me the prescription was ready when it wasn't. The unprofessional behavior from staff created a tense atmosphere that affected other customers waiting in line. Rather than taking responsibility for their notification error or showing any understanding of the time-sensitive nature of my medical need, the staff chose to be dismissive and rude. This was not just poor customer service - it was a failure to handle a medical situation with the care and professionalism you'd expect from a pharmacy. I will not be returning and would caution others to verify their prescriptions are actually ready before making the trip. The combination of operational errors, poor communication, and unprofessional treatment of customers is unacceptable for a healthcare-related business.
This is the best pharmacy in town! Karen is simply amazing and she always helps with a smile and amazing warmth and provides the most incredible customer service as has Nick for years ! We are so lucky to have this pharmacy and I am so grateful for all that work at the Pharmacy! Best customer service in town!
Best, most prompt, most customer friendly pharmacy in town. We’re so lucky to have such great service at Boulder’s only independent pharmacy !
The phone answering / messaging / voicemail system is not as good as other pharmacies. The only way to request prescription refills is by leaving a voice message. There is no automated system to request refills or notify you when they are ready to pick up. It’s hard to get through to a live person. However, they did call me back after I left a voice message asking if the refills were ready.
Jared, Nik, Karen, Dave, Jenny and Armand are all employees here who provide excellent customer service!✨😌 The employees here collaboratively work towards making this facility a refreshingly friendly and well-stocked pharmacy!🙋♂️ …
Not using this pharmacy again after one of the male workers at the pharmacy whistled at me to get my attention in line just because I thought he was talking to someone else in line. It made me feel so awful.
