Disappointed. This is the second time I have attempted to use this pharmacy and was told to just go to the pharmacy I normally use. I live up the street and would like to support a local business however, your pharmacist assistant or whatever you call the man that works at this pharmacy tells me to just go back to my normal pharmacy before even asking the pharmacist if my prescription is in stock. I do not recommend this pharmacy because apparently they only want patients who have been there before. Also they have reviews deleted because this is not the first time I’ve left a negative review for them.

I'm about to play "ask a lawyer" to find out if it's illegal for a pharmacy to ignore prescriptions from urgent care/walk-in clinics, because that's what a female representative of this pharmacy told me today, that they won't accept from clinics, after I waited for my prescription for an antibiotic I needed badly to be filled. Do not send your prescriptions here if you're coming from an urgent care or walk in, and with that attitude I wouldn't use them for anything ever.

Confusing at first. Doctor has to write a prescription to HANCOCK Surgical not Hancock pharmacy. Hancock gets a lot of business from assisted livings because of their med management . They put meds in blister pac. I live in assisted living. Why are they going to Hancock. That’s why! They gave me veteran break at Atria Larson place assisted living.

DONT SHOP OR FILL ANY PRESCRIPTIONS IN THIS PLACE. If I could have given them a zero I would have. Like the fellow before me, I was trying to support a local pharmacy, but they deserve to be close. These are the most rude people I've ever met in my life, In a professional setting, they are disgustingly unprofessional and wanted me to yell my prescription across a long counter to the person in the back, while there's other people in the place. A tremendous HIPA violation When I called them on it, they decided we're not gonna fill your prescription. I have no idea how these people stay in business.

Been 6 days without my most important medication now. "My Chart" proves my medication was transferred to Hancock's and they still saying they didn't get it. So calling my doctor 12/30 9am and let her know, cause l can end up in the hospital. Their service use to be very good, not any more.

Absolutely ATROCIOUS! We had our vet call in a prescription for our pup who is in pain with a back injury. The initial staff member and pharmacist were courteous and let us know that we could expect to pick it up in one hour. We called back one hour later to check the status before going, and Paul was absolutely horrendous. He said we do NOT take pet prescriptions, after being told by two people (staff & pharmacist) that they do earlier. He was so demeaning, so I respectfully asked to be connected with Dave, the pharmacist who previously told me that I could get the prescription there. Dave said that the owner decided that they actually cannot fill a pet prescription WORD FOR WORD- after being told an hour ago that they could- and then after I questioned why, he hung up on me! I even asked if they thought to call to let us know as soon as they found that out and he couldn't give me an answer. You kept our poor baby suffering for NO reason. Go to Beacon Pharmacy in Southington, they are PHENOMENAL!

My go to pharmacy, one of the few remaining community staple pharmacy’s that haven’t been taken over by a big chain. Greg the owner does a wonderful job and greats many customers including myself by name. You can’t find that at a Walgreens or CVS

despite shelves seeming full, not a lot of options when you look closely. unable to purchase medical gauze pads singularly, was forced to buy an entire (already opened) box of 25 when I only needed 8. extremely expensive ace bandages (over $12 each for 6in single-velcro wraps).

Wanted to give them a chance to help out small business but every time I went to use my HSA card to pay for something there was a problem. My last 2 visits were the last straw, both times I was told the computer was down and asked to pay with a different method. I’ve found expired medications here as well.

Avoid. Had a script sent here from GoodRx because it was close to work. First visit, they told me they hadn't received it, until I pulled out the app with a confirmation. They took my info and told me to come back later. Later that day they told me they don't honor GoodRx, and they'd run my insurance instead (which I DIDN'T want) and it wasn't covered (it is, but at a higher price). The problem is, GoodRx already told me the price based upon their contract with Hancock. So this pharmacy lied to me twice in one day. Go somewhere else.
