Medicap® Pharmacy

Courteous and knowledgeable staff who always takes the time to answer any questions. The drive through is convenient and they are always prompt. I would recommend them to anyone who values the highest quality of service and care.

We switched to Medicap in Ankeny over a year ago. I wish I would have done it sooner. The staff always goes above and beyond, they are friendly and you can tell they enjoy there job. Today I showed up a few minuets before they opened knowing I was going to have to wait. No they went above and beyond once again to help me even before they were open. I am so glad I made the switch .

Over half the Time we need a prescription, I’m notified that the prescription is ready to pick up and when I get there, they’re clueless about it and asked me to wait 20 minutes while they fill it or they don’t even have it at all. Doesn’t seem to matter if I go there straight through my doctor appointment or wait a day, or two, or even a week.

I LoVE how it feels like a Small town pharmacy, when every other place they couldn’t care less about my day let alone name. I have called Jennifer more than once or twice for random questions. I love when I need refills without refills, she contacts my doctors to handle it. The whole team know and loves both of my dogs names and never forgets to give them love. Jennifer is more than a pharmacist, she is also a friend, a brilliant mind, knowledgeable, sweet and ALWAYS makes sure you have or you can get what you need. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Could not be happier with Medicap!! They have been incredibly helpful with finding alternatives, checking ingredients to make sure meds are ok with allergies to dyes etc, and answering questions. Truly above and beyond, and so kind!

We moved to Ankeny from Ft Dodge. There we were used to go to Daniel Pharmacy run by a family which gave personal attention to all customers. I wanted to find similar customer service oriented pharmacy in Ankeny where i am not dealing with new pharmacist and staff every time i go. I read about medicap in ankeny and their pharmacist- Jennifer who has been there for over 15 years. I sent an email to them describing my needs and asked if they are the kind of pharmacy i am looking for. Jennifer had a day off that day but the another pharmacist working with her called me within an hour…to me they passed my test of attention to customer…we visited the pharmacy that same day and have been their customers for past 6 months. They have met our expectations every time and sometimes even gone beyond normal customer service and stayed open late to meet our needs. I am so happy that we chose the right pharmacy with great staff. Everyone there is welcoming and have smiles on their faces. I have worked in hospitality sector and know how important the reviews are. I sincerely believe this is one of the best pharmacies i have used. P.s. I finally stopped by today and personally told Jennifer how appreciative we are of her pharmacy and staff. Thanks 🙏

I just switched to Medicap and wish I would have done it years ago. Staff is pleasant, friendly and punctual. They always pick up phones and fill Rx quickly!

I have numerous stories throughout the years where they have bent over backwards for me. I remember one time I called as I was leaving work one would stay about 5 minutes past close, and they agreed. In my opinion this was already good customer service, but as it turn out I was 15 minutes after close an the still waited! All of the staff are very courteous and accommodating, and I always recommend them.

I only filled prescriptions there once or twice a month, but Jennifer actually took the time to get to know my name, which I thought was wonderful. I was very impressed with how they conduct business. They happily answer all of my questions, even the silly ones. I would highly recommend this pharmacy in a heartbeat.
