They always fill order quickly and call me right away if there will be any delay whatsoever. Also, they called me about the cost and an available discount for one-half off.
Due to insurance changes throughout my life, I have had to use every pharmacy in town, and without a doubt the Costco pharmacy on Bardstown Road is the best in Louisville. I can't say enough about the staff, their knowledge, their concern, and overall demeanor. The pharmacists are the best at giving vaccines too! If you desire a pharmacy that treats you like you matter, then this is where you need to go. Also, they do have auto refill!
Outstanding. Polite, helpful, can't say enough good about them. When I changed to them from a big chain drug store some of my prescriptions suddenly became cheaper even though my coverage had not changed.....
Unfortunately the last few trips to the pharmacy have been miserable. During my last visit the person I interacted with (Cat?) acted as if she couldn’t be bothered to help me and when I had a few questions about my prescription she was downright rude and dismissive. I’m not sure if they’ve hired new techs or if they’re simply overworked but it does suck to be completely disregarded like that. I work in customer service too and understand the exhaustion that can come with this type of work; however, to be visibly irritated and impatient with customers right off the bat is very unfair.
Started coming here to fill meds for my dog (way cheaper than CVS) then realized my dog was getting better service here than we were at CVS. They are fast and do not seem to fall behind like other chain pharmacies. My daughter’s dr sent prescription in at 5:30 on a Friday and by 6:15 Costco texted it was ready. They will also call quickly if your meds are on order unlike CVS. The only downside is when I have to drag my kid across Costco to pick up (it can be busy in store). I’m also not sure what their stock is like for liquid meds for children.
My opinion is biased because I love Costco. But I also love the pharmacists and pharmacy techs here, too. A team mostly made of ladies, they always are courteous and get the job done. They seem like they like their job and aren’t miserable like my previous experiences at various drug stores. Not only that, the prices on my prescriptions are noticeably cheaper. Yes, they’re closed on Sunday. 6/7 days is doable for me. Keep up the good work!
My wife stopped by recently and they accepted her Good RX coupon for a new prescription, saved a lot compared to her regular prescription insurance. Also a Great Pharmacy for vaccinations. we've had several at this location and the process works for us.
I left Costco Pharmacy after 3 months because they do not have auto-refill. When I left Kroger for them I knew this, but I'm on too many prescriptions to keep up with. I also had trouble getting them to text me to let me know a prescription was ready to be picked up. I signed up for that service. I have gone back to Kroger's where I don't have to do anything, they take care of it all. I was really disappointed in the pharmacy. Unless yuo are retired and have nothing to do or just a couple of prescriptions to keep up with, I do not recommend Costco.
All walgreens around here were out of my ozempic which I use for diabetes not due to weight loss fad. Anyway, costco had it. Also, I hate walgreens since they sold out to rite aid in Louisville. no competition, but costco came thru!!
David was so very helpful with my prescription, even helped me get a better rate through the Costco Membership option vs a coupon. Thank you!
