Corporate needs to stop pinching pennies and properly staff the pharmacy. Couldn't get ahold of anyone and phone line kept disconnecting. This issue isn't the first time this has happened to me with Walgreens in general. Will likely find a different pharmacy that is willing to be properly staffed

This Walgreens LOVES to overfill prescriptions, lose prescriptions, and then the love to tell you one thing one the phone and something different in person. My grandmother has NEVER gotten 3 inhalers at once and right now she’s in gap of her Medicare coverage. Well tonight I get home and there’s 3 inhalers in there. She does not have the money to pay for excess medications. They have given us enough of another of her medication to last thru 2024. Now, her dr may have screwed up and ordered three of them but she’s been with Walgreens for 40 PLUS years and has NEVER received 3 inhalers in one month. Sometimes one lasts her 6 MONTHS! Any time there has ever been a change with medication or dosage the pharmacy has ALWAYS confirmed with us first but for some reason they didn’t with us this time. Also, they marked the inhalers 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3 but didn’t do that on slip that says what you picked up. NO WHERE on that paper does it state that we were picking up 3 inhalers but it does state that we have 3 refills. I will be checking on mychart to see what the actual prescription says and then taking further action as needed. We have had one issue after another with location since moving from Virginia to kentucky. The pharmacy techs are rude as hell when you have a problem to also. They talk over you and love to hang up the phone. If I could give this location 0 stars, I would.

I was given two scripts from my doctor. I paid for both prescriptions ahead of time with the express pay. I got an email saying that my Scripts are ready and the app generated a code for me to show them that they’re paid for. I get up to the drive thru and he said well you only have one code wheres your second code? I said I paid for both Scripts at the same time and it gave me one code. I said both charges are pending in my account. He said well I can’t give you this other medication until you give me the second code. I said it didn’t generate one!!! . I said, somehow you all got my money because it’s pending, so what are we gonna do with missing code? He said you can’t have your medication. He asked to see my card so when I gave him my debit card and he tried to run it again and it got declined because I only had enough money to pay for the two prescriptions. I only have 25 bucks to my name so when he tried to run it again because the charges already pending there’s not enough money there so he comes back. He’s like well this card was declined. I’m like yeah because you already have the money. They refused to give me my meds because I didn’t have a second code but they have my money.
