Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy at Cooper Health System

Never busy, and with a great friendly, professional staff. Always so kind and helpful, especially with Medicare issues.

Do NOT go to Walgreens if you need a digital passport photo. They literally sent me a photo of me standing in front of a display counter and the manager claimed the photo could not be edited.????? Go to CVS and get it done right.

The folks at this pharmacy are incredibly helpful. They are only open during weekdays 9 to 5, which makes it less convenient for picking up prescriptions after work, etc. But with less regular pharmacy traffic and fewer phone calls they are better able to help the customer, particularly with less common prescriptions. My mother had a prescription sitting in limbo for weeks at the regular Walgreens. After we transferred the prescription to this specialty location, the staff was able to fix the problem, get the meds ordered, and fill it. Top notch!

The best of the best when it comes to pharmacie. Even if you don’t have a script, just going in there and talking to the staff is an amazing experience. It’s crazy, the staff is so professional and obviously more knowledgeable than any other pharmacy, but they still have this “barbershop” feel. You can walk in, ask honest questions about medications, and they will have a legit conversation w/ you all the while making you feel extremely comfortable while you’re doing it. The staff remembers your name after the first visit, they will go above n beyond to make sure you pay the lowest copay possible for your med, they’re sexy as hell, and super proactive. Last thing, and this is an absolute fact…once you use this pharmacy, you will and can never use another pharmacy. This Walgreens at Cooper is on another level. The best!

This place has been calling me since the beginning of September. I live an hour away and have never had my prescriptions filled by a Walgreens. When I called, a woman who was so unclear said I had to call for a prior authorization for a diabetic pod. I had already been approved for the device. I've worked as a pharmacy technician. The pharmacy is supposed to make calls for the customer. So, instead of doing their job, they told me I had to make the calls that they were supposed to make. Absolutely ridiculous. I had the diabetic company just sent me the pod directly.

The gentleman at the pharmacy was very helpful courteous, and professional. 5 stars for his work ethics !

Staff is great! Always have accurate information about my medicines - refills, side effects, etc. Professional and personable. The Best of all pharmacies (including other walgreens).
