Wegmans Pharmacy

Exceptional service; has always been attentive and there's never a wait. Reliable source of prescriptions that have proven difficult to obtain consistently elsewhere due to the distribution network.

We used this pharmacy for years, but the customer service and knowledge of the staff have gone downhill. I attribute this to the push towards the call center and to fill scripts through a central service. We finally had to change to another pharmacy after they were unable to meet our expectations. The head pharmacist is great and incredibly knowledgeable, but his support staff are poorly trained, probably because the call center does much of the work that would be done traditionally by the staff in store, and some of the pharmacists on staff are also not great communicators. Too many issues, so after many years we decided to switch. Hopefully they realize that they aren’t doing themselves any favors with these changes.

HORRIBLE. Get your prescriptions somewhere else!!! They never have the staff for curbside. I have literally told them SO MANY times to REMOVE medications off of the auto fill list - it still ends up being refilled and messing up my prescription schedule. I’ve even deleted the scripts off the list so it doesn’t happen but it happens EVERY. MONTH.

The pharmacy is packed full of incompetent pharmacists who can’t count, give out wrong meds, overcharge and refuse to refund and they’re liars. I literally had my doctors office call me and recommend that I change pharmacies because of how terrible they are. The amount of times I’ve had to return because they gave me the wrong count or the wrong medication is insane. The pharmacy manager was so rude to me today that I finally switched to cvs in Northboro; I almost didn’t know what to do when they correctly filled my medication and didn’t overcharge me for them. I’m at a point where I may never even shop at wegmans for food. Edited to add: CVS has had to call numerous times to tell wegmans to stop filling my meds because I was switching pharmacy’s. They continued to do so into this week. After treating me like crap and telling me to take my business elsewhere they made it very difficult for me to obtain prescriptions and missed multiple doses. Worst pharmacy ever.

Incompetent and unhelpful staff. I’ve used a Wegmans pharmacy my entire life with nothing but good experiences. When I moved it seemed like a no brainer to continue to use Wegmans as a pharmacy, I regret it. The staff at this pharmacy been unable to answer the most basic questions about my prescriptions and have managed to mess up every single one of my prescription orders over my last 4 visits with absolutely no apology. I will never be using this pharmacy again.

The pharmacy is horrible. I have a diagnosis of stage 4 cancer, I’ve had multiple surgeries, and this pharmacy has withholding my pain medications, refusing to fill them until 4 days after they are due, pushing their opinions and beliefs on me. They tell me all they have to do is claim “its policy” and they can do whatever they want. They horrible people, judgmental, and just awful. I absolutely DO NOT recommend them ever!

I wish I could give them 6 stars!! On 2/4 I brought my Uncle in for his Covid shot at the Wegmans Pharmacy in Westwood. Eric was the person behind the counter and checked my Uncle in. On 02/5 I brought my Aunt in for her shot and Rebecca checked her in. Both Eric and Rebecca were AWESOME! They were both professional, polite, and caring. Both my Aunt and Uncle are in their 90's and they could not have been treated any better. I was unable to get the name of the person responsible for giving the shot but she too was great! The process from the time they arrived to the time they left was flawless. I know where I will be going to get my shot! Thank you very much for taking care of my Aunt and Uncle Jim Bretta
