Keyes Drug

This pharmacy deserves many shout outs!! It is the best. People are so kind, friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. You can actually reach a pharmacist and the front desk without waiting 40 mins. No 1/2 waits to pick up meds. It is a delight and everyone is competent and friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend it more highly.

Friendliest staff! Needed to get candles and they didn’t have any in store but gave me some of their surplus candles they had in the back! If I lived here I would def come here for my prescriptions. They did have birthday bags and cards.

Recently switched to Keyes from CVS in West Newton. Finally had my fill of a pharmacy full of rude staff who never answer the phone. I got sick the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend and needed an antibiotic prescription filled. Much to my surprise Keyes was the only pharmacy open on Memorial day (CVS, Walgreens, and Hannafords pharmacies were all closed on Memorial Day). The staff at Keyes are all friendly and someone actually answers the phone when you call. You can even speak with a pharmacist if you need to. They also handled the transfer of all of my prescriptions from CVS to Keyes. If you are tired of being treated poorly by the corporate pharmacies I recommend you switch to Keyes. Getting my antibiotic on a holiday instead of having to wait until the day after verified that I made the right choice switching too them.

Terrible customer service. Our pediatrician called in a compound there for our newborn. They never asked us for a flavoring choice. We assumed they'd ask or pick something baby friendly. When we gave it to him, he hated the taste. The second time made him spit up/gag. It smelled terrible. When my wife called to ask if it was flavored and mention it tasted bad, the pharmacist gave a snooty attitude mentioning we said we wanted caramel and they could not reflavor or resubmit to insurance. I called back to follow up and mention that when I spoke to them, they never asked for a flavor. She, with a condescending attitude, said they don't ask, and standard flavor with caramel and we should have asked for something else. I asked how we would know that, and she just said "well, that just what we do." I mentioned the flavor reacted badly and asked if they could rerun through insurance and she gave no help or sympathy with her continued defensive bad attitude. What happened to customer service? Instead of politely mentioning things, she was so aggressive assuming a first time client would KNOW they pick a weird flavor.

Best pharmacy - super caring staff, personalized, knowledgeable service, excellent selection of durable medical equipment items (& can always order, if what need isn't in stock), some less expensive but still qualitative brands, and interesting vitamin supplement options. After becoming a customer here, you'll never want to settle & use chain pharmacies for your prescription needs. F.Y.I. - because this IS a small, family owned pharmacy, hours are different than large box stores, so check times! P.s. POST COVID 2025 - Survived, thank goodness! Faithful regulars will note a new generation has been added to the staff of this family owned, family run neighborhood pharmacy store. Noteworthy: for a nominal fee the pharmacy provides delivery for those that need it, as well as, offering seniors a discount -- how NICE is that?!

One of the few family owned pharmacies who does things right. Came to Keyes years ago after poor experiences with CVS and haven’t looked back. Keyes care about their patients, always, answers the phone, and brings humanity back to an industry that has been ruined by now insurance companies and the monopoly of large pharmacies. I love Keyes.

I can't say enough good things about Keyes Drugs. I had many problems getting my prescriptions filled at Walgreens. (They wouldn't even answer the phone.) I then switched to a local pharmacy that would answer the phone but could never fill my prescriptions on time. Often taking weeks to fill. It was a breath of fresh air switching to Keyes. They answer their phones right away. Prescriptions that are in stock in filled the same day. More complicated injectable pens that must be ordered are filled within 2 days. What a change! My wife also gets a compounded medication filled there and has never been disappointed.

The staff are amazing!!! They embody the definition of community health care. Always quick and simple.

My family recently moved to Auburndale and walking distance to Keyes. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely want to help when you or a loved one isn't feeling well. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel "at home" when they visit a local pharmacy.

Most helpful pharmacy I ever visited. They had my daughter’s medicine that two other pharmacies didn’t carry, and had it ready 3min after receiving the order. Then the manager literally helped administer it.
