Excellent customer service, clean and well stocked store. I really like this CVS store.
I had a Teladoc appointment because I was quite ill. The doctor sent a prescription to CVS before we ended the visit, and when I called CVS afterwards the pharmacist said it would be ready in 15 minutes -- which it was! Very efficient.
Even after an order has been called in hours before, you have to wait. But even after checking on the order (after waiting in line), they tell you to come back 30 min. later, only to be told they are "out of stock". These are common children's antibiotics and this has happened three different times. They then send you to other locations who are then out as well (even after they claim they called and checked stock at the other location). CVS is terrible. All of them seem chaotic and poorly run. The last time it took us 4 hours and 3 different locations to get antibiotics for a 5 year old's ear infection. Frustrating and terrible service and zero compassion. We will be moving to a different pharmacy service as we have given up on CVS.
I assume as part of CVS's retail strategy, they insist on making you come back to their store 3-4 to receive a single prescription. Even when you call and verify you prescription is ready, it turns out not only is it not ready, they don't even have the medicine in stock! Here is a list of things I trust with my healthcare more than CVS: a McDonald's dollar menu, an intermittent fasting vampire, the magic brooms from Disney's 1940 classic Fantasia, shellfish someone tried to sell me out of the back of a truck.
Literally THE WORST pharmacy I’ve ever been to. CVS pharmacies are never that fast, but they are especially bad. There’s one technician who is especially rude, but I’m not going to name names. They’re slow, my prescription has not been ready on time even once. I either have to go in and ask for them to fill it (sometimes even a week after it’s been called in) and then wait for hours for it it be ready, or I have to make sure I call and wait on hold for at least 15 minutes or more to speak to someone and ensure that they’re going to fill it so I don’t have to stand around and wait for them to do it. I’ve given them enough opportunities to improve, I just don’t have the time to deal with their horrendous customer service or turnaround time any longer. Trust me, find another pharmacy.
Pathetic service at Sangamore Road CVS pharmacy—took 30+ mins waiting in line just to pickup a prescription order. The pharmacy was severely understaffed with two pharmacists busy filling prescription orders and one young cashier—she was slow, inexperienced & sullen and seemed more interested listening to her music earbuds.
The CVS pharmacy staff works really hard to do a good job and has always had my prescriptions quickly. I really appreciate the work they do for what often seems like a thankless job from many patrons
Very happy with the service on my son’s prescription, which is often difficult to fill. Pharmacist and tech knew what they were doing, were smooth and efficient. Thanks to them.
Ms Edith made sure I got everything I needed quickly and before closing! She went above and beyond as a cvs employee to help!
Awful experience. Waited two hours for a prescription that was supposed to be ready 3 jours before. Staff not even apologized.
