Giant Pharmacy

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Giant Pharmacy. I called to inquire about the availability of a product, and the person on the phone made no effort to understand my request. Instead of trying to help or asking clarifying questions, they simply hung up on me. This level of unprofessionalism and disrespect is unacceptable for a pharmacy that is supposed to assist its customers. I strongly discourage anyone from using this store if you expect courteous and efficient service.

Thank you to the 1:30 AM pharmacist who went above and beyond to help with a medical emergency. Extremely professional, smart, kind, and helpful.

I’ve avoided reviewing this pharmacy because I understand it’s a demanding job, however after months of bad experiences I feel it’s necessary to review. Each time I’ve had to pick up prescriptions from this pharmacy I’ve had a terrible experience. They’ve messed up my insurance and medication pricing and have had to redo it several times, even when I ask them to confirm they have it correct. My prescriptions are never ready no matter how long I wait after refilling to pick them up. Staff are indifferent and not friendly, and I’ve had rude interactions with them once or twice. If it weren’t for this being the only convenient pharmacy for me, I would never return. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Terrible wait time. They always ask me to wait 20-30 minutes however, the shortest amount of time I actually waited was an hour. This never happened at any other pharmacy with me. Mind you, I call ahead of time to ask if my medication is ready and they just get frustrated and say that I can come in at anytime to pick up my prescription. I literally waited 3 hours before then told to come the next day. Definitely need to find another pharmacy.

Had to go here late at night a few times for important pick-ups, and it's been extremely smooth and pleasant. Very happy these folks are here.

As bad as it gets. Avoid at all costs. One example: they don’t answer their phone any time of day and my doctor tried as well and cannot contact. Can’t check if they have meds in stock or get help about medications. Tiny part of the store and line goes back into isles where people with kids and carts run into you. Just absolute disaster use CVS.

I was told to wait 20 minutes for my wife’s prescription no big deal right? Well they had the prescription for 10 hours at that point and no one had bothered to prepare it. Then after 40 minutes of waiting I got back in line and was told to wait until my number was called, but it was already ready. The most unfriendly and unhelpful staff. I work I customer service and I am embarrassed to be in a parallel field to this rude, and useless staff.

This pharmacy fails to provide a way to call and check on the status of a new prescription (i.e., no existing prescription number is known yet). You have to go in person and invariably there is a long wait. The pharmacy chronically seems overwhelmed with long lines. I hate going here but they are open 24 hours, the only virtue.

Two different medications instead of one. I picked up my medication and a few weeks later noticed that a pill looked different. Upon examining and googling the number on the pill found out that the pill was something completely different and was not prescribed to me. I looked at all the pills and found out 3 wrong pills there! It could have a serious adverse reaction if I had taken these wrong pills.

Worst place to go get vaccine. Horrible customer service. Pharmacist doesn't care. You can make an appointment but they won't call your number for 30 minutes later and then they make you go back in the long line to sign a release- why can't they do this first. No excuses. They say they are understaffed. So if you are understaffed don't lie to your customers and tell them you have availability. BE TRANSPARENT. But they just don't care. Sign of the times
