If you're just using Walgreens to pick up a few items, it's fantastic. Quick and easy, sometimes the prices are a bit steep, but the sales can be pretty good. If you're using the pharmacy, congratulations, you just walked unknowingly into the apocalypse where everything is burning and no one has any idea what's going on. I sure hope you don't have more than one Rx you needed filled. God forbid, you need an odd amount of anything either. Your doctor doesn't know what's best for you in the land of Walgreens apocalyptopharm, only they do. And even though you've been filling the same prescriptions, every single month, for several years now, not one time, not even one time will it ever be correct. That's almost impressive. If you have a rare disease, which leads to you taking odd amounts of average everyday medications that are seen often. For example, if they usually fill that same prescription for grandmas heart but they fill it for 30, and yours needs 180. Because you have to take 6 of those a day. They will NOT be filling that Rx for you today. Not until , you the patient, who is sick after all, jumps through several hoops, like you did last month and many many many months before that. When you arrive to pick up your Rx's that are supposed to be ready, you'll find at least one is missing. One is only a partial fill. Your insurance suddenly doesn't pay for that one, oh wait yes it does, glad we checked on that! And one time I got one that wasn't even mine! Keep in mind, NONE of these medications are narcotics. They're just the meds I need to keep me alive. I shouldn't have to be a big stressed out mess every month when it's time to fill my Rx's. But quite honestly. There's not many options anymore. Just be forewarned I suppose. Good luck to you!
Slow, often erroneous, crowded, impolite. Even my doctor is saying I should find a different pharmacy. Sounds like a good idea.
I've been using Walgreens Pharmacy for the six years I’ve lived in Missouri, and it’s always been a hassle—long lines, long waits, and constant frustration. But recently, the customer service has gotten absolutely awful. I like to refill my prescriptions through the app, which should make things easier. Last Tuesday, I submitted a refill request for my CGM sensor. Immediately, the status was changed to "insurance issues." I know for a fact there are no insurance problems. The real issue is their chronic understaffing, and those who are working there seem completely incapable of getting the job done efficiently. A full week has passed, and the status hasn’t changed. I’m beyond fed up. This pharmacy clearly has no respect for their customers’ time or needs. After this experience, I’m done with Walgreens Pharmacy.
Today was a little hard to go the driveway to go south. They had a blocked off. Had to use neighboring business driveways to go south.
alana helped me find my perscription for less than half its listed price. she genuinely helped me out and was really kind!
Came to pick up my meds. Was told it would be another 45 minute and I would be put on the waiting board. I came back after almost 2 hours and was told it would take longer and that their wait time is about 30 minute which I have already waited almost 2 hours for they then told me once again they would put me on the waiting board. I am in legitimate pain and should not have the do this dance just to get my meds. I never had to deal with this using Walmart the only reason I was swapped to this horrible pharmacy was because I needed meds overnight at one point and they were the only place open. I will be switching back to Walmart and I highly recommend you avoid this place if you really need your meds.
Not very happy. I called to have my prescription done here because my pharmacy is temporary closed. The technicians manager talked to me on the phone close to 7pm and told me she could have it done tonight and asked when I would like to pick it up. I said the soonest you can have it ready by and she said in one hour. I told I would be there close to 8pm and she said sounds good. I get there around 7:45pm in the drive through, a little early before 8pm because I expected a line. Eventually I make it up to the window in the 2nd lane at 9:45pm and hear the worker tell the car next to me it will be about another 45 minutes. I already had a bad feeling. I talked with the worker and she proceeds to tell me that the pharmacist hasn't even started on my prescription. She said it would be about 25-30 more minutes and I could either pull back around in line or come inside. For what? to wait another hour or longer in line when its already wrapped around the building. Im sorry no. Moral of the story is don't tell people your prescription will be ready at a certain time, then have them wait an hour or longer to receive it. And then it still not be ready! So ridiculous honestly. I can see why some people try to avoid this pharmacy.
We went to get a prescription filled for our son nevermind that they NEVER work on filling the prescription until you try to pick up anyway we were told to come back. We asked for a text when ready and it NEVER came so we called were told it was ready and the cost was nothing which it should have been. When we went to get it they refused to give it without us paying $45 because we didn't have a prescription card from our insurance provider. Which it's now after hours and it's for an antibiotic. This is the worst policy ever and has never been said before we've had other prescriptions filled this year
The pharmacy had a ridiculously long wait time.
This place caused me to wait like 4 extra hours for my antibiotics because no one called to let me know that they didn’t even have the medication i needed in stock. I went there and that’s when they told me. They said that they could send the prescription over to Walmart for me as it was my normal pharmacy and apparently whoever told me that was mistaken. I called them back to verify that they had sent it over to Walmart and they informed me that they cannot do that unless a transfer is requested. So after 4 hours of calling them and waiting to get someone on the phone I got my medication. Thanks a lot!
I had to make 4 different trips just to get my 8 year old son his prescription for antibiotics filled. I signed up for the app and never received a text. Poor service. I will be looking for a new pharmacy. Save yourself some time and trouble do not use this pharmacy. Unprofessional and very unpleasant.
Called to get help with a script that was closed but still had open refills left. Both the tech and Jessie the pharmacist weren't very helpful in resolving the issue. 1st time I've left a review but felt like the customer service to get the issue resolved just wasn't there at all. Wouldn't recommend this store based on my experience.
This store gets a bad wrap, but the Pharmacy associates answer all questions about in-store products. Highly recommend talking to them about anything you want to find in the shopping isles.
If I could give ZERO stars I would. This is one place that would benefit from having AI replace their rude staff at the drive thru.
Usually use another store across town. Had been in hospital all night for a staph infection and came here to fill my prescriptions. Went to go d bathroom only to find they we're closed even too paying customers. I had to leave and go to the …
The slowest pharmacy on Earth! Wish my mom's insurance would allow her to get her medication elsewhere because it takes at least 45 minutes to pick up a script every single time.
I love this Walgreens, moved to Springfield 13 years ago, Store manager Kevin, Susan Jim, and the sweet lady’s in the makeup Dept, miss Elizabeth, my family in Nixa is jealous, not so friendly or organized!
I had to wait in line for 45 minutes only for them to tell me that they transferred my prescription to another pharmacy, Even though I spoke to them yesterday and they confirmed that I can pick it up there.
Never have prescriptions ready unless until you go and wait. Even after giving them extra time
Lost my prescription, I don't even see how that happens....
