The 2 stars is specifically for the app malfunctions. If you want your prescriptions, just call. DO NOT USE THE APP UNLESS YOU WANT TO CALL MORE AND FEEL LIKE A CRAZY PERSON YELLING AT SOMEONE FOR AN APP THEY DIDNT CREATE. Anyways, Ill have to wait a whole other week to get money back for a prescription they couldn't even deliver in the first place
They used to be great. But Now you have to wait 20-45 minutes to get a pharmacist on the phone. And most the time they don't know the answers, even in person. Need a manager to come in and audit the situation.
They get really busy but for how sensitive some of things they handle I think they do a good job getting through the line as fast was they can between the drive through and walk up counter
The people are very nice, and I was able to get in and out fairly quickly. Sometimes, that is not the case because they do not have enough personnel to man the0 drive-thru and the inside. You will need to be patient. It is best to go at off-peak hours.
Literally the worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. I work in the medical field, so yes I understand filling medications takes time. However, i have NEVER had the issues i have had here at any other pharmacy. I used them for a while just because I didn’t want to have to switch all of my prescriptions. However, I finally swapped because they just kept getting worse. A few months in a row they just didn’t fill my needed monthly prescriptions, because they wouldn’t have it in stock or “just didn’t get around to it yet (3 days after my auto fill date). They didn’t call to tell me this, and they never answer the phone. So i had to take time to go in person and see what was going on, and then had to come back the next day to actually pick up the prescription. The last time when I went to see what was going on with my prescription they said oh sorry it’ll be 3 months before we have any in stock. Why wouldn’t you call and tell me that or update it from “processing” on the app? I swapped to a pharmacy down the road the same day that happened. They had it in stock and filled it in 30 minutes. They have never taken longer than 45 minutes to fill a prescription if I call, and if it’s on on auto fill they have it done the day it’s due (typically early that morning). They also call and answer the phone. My husband accidentally had a prescription called here today at 9 am. He didn’t need it until late this afternoon, so we just left it to be filled there. I tried to call at 3 to check the status and was on hold for 45 minutes. No one answered which is of course to be expected. I hung up because my app sent me a notification that they had finally started filling it at 3:40 (almost 7 hours after the prescription was sent to them) with an estimated time of a little after 4. It is now 5:45pm, and the prescription just says delayed. I have been on hold again for 30 minutes with (no surprise) no answer. I think they have only ever answered the phone 10% of the time I have called (and I always wait at least 45 minutes- up to 3 hours). Definitely won’t make this mistake again, because I doubt my husband will get the medication he needs today (like ASAP now since we have waited 8.5 hours). The doctor closed at 5 so I can’t get it transferred to a different pharmacy at this point.
Man, I thought it was just me. Apparently many others are unsatisfied with Walgreens in Brandon. Every time I have to get prescriptions refilled I dread going because of the attitude and long wait times. If the pharmacist and staff don’t like there jobs, please quit, don’t take out your frustration on we Customers, especially with prices of some medicines being expensive. The reviews and number of 1 stars should make you guys want to provide better service and be more friendly. You never know, which Walgreens locations may close next.
Worst experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. I waited on hold for over 30 minutes before being able to speak to a very rude, unhelpful staff member, who put me back on hold when I asked to speak to a pharmacist, and later hung up on me. I was kept on hold for over an hour and 15 minutes total and actually drove up to the pharmacy while on hold and watched the staff ignore my call. My prescription still was not ready and they made no effort to try to help me. I asked to speak with a manager, who turned out not to be there, gave my number for them to call, and have yet to hear anything back. I will not return to this store ever again.
This is for the pharmacy, the one that is convinced you the customer know their inventory. Considering they took my script, didn’t have it in stock. Than here’s the kicker , refuses it to be sent to any other pharmacy that is not a Walgreens…… you DO NOT STAND FOR BETTER HEALTH, YOU STAND FOR MONEY YOU DISGUSTING GREEDY CORPORATE PIGS. This is also a mental health drug, you will not let patient bc he’s not buying from you a 50% mark up
They’re nice people, But I’d call the funeral home and make arrangements first, because your eulogy is probably gonna come before they get them pills in that bottle. The one in Flowood is pretty good tho. Joking aside, the staff is nice af and I never had any issues with their personnel, it’s just they don’t ever seem to have anything in stock - idk whose job that is, but if they fix that then they’ll be ok, also wouldn’t hurt to extend their hours of operation - overheard that they may be short staffed - maybe they could get some interns like at the one on Hugh Ward Blvd, could help them in getting things together a little more. Being short staffed sucks - and Karen’s everywhere don’t help anything - I know they probably doing the best they can. Love y’all ! Just get my dang Rash Cream in stock- my legs itch!
Just needs to get it together. We tried several different days to get the med. To be told it was there when they finally answered to get there and it not be there
