Was really looking forward to becoming a patient of this pharmacy as I am all for small, independent businesses given the healthcare/pharmacy system we are in. With Rite Aid recently closing I found V-Care. Created an account online and entered in the 3-4 prescriptions I needed from Rite Aid before they closed…a week plus went by, no contact. I called, the stated they never got anything online and gave information via phone. Provided specifics on one medication that Rite Aid continuously filled that I was no longer taking (changed from a powder to pill), told them to please obtain the pill, not powder….powder was still received. 6/13 the pharmacy called and asked about another medication I had and I also inquired about the medication previously (pill vs powder), was told they would call for it, asked again via chat on 6/24 and ultimately the script obtained/transferred before Rite Aid closed as I was told they received the powder. On 6/30 I was informed by V-Care my “insurance is out of network” with their pharmacy, on 7/2 I responded with information from my PBM staying they are in network along with the message from the pharmacy benefit manager showing this - it’s now 7/8, no response. I officially give up. Running a small, private healthcare practice myself, I had higher hopes for a similar business in pharmacy…expected better. Guess I will be stuck with chain.
Worst decision I've ever made! The Londonderry location is horrible! Had to switch because of Rite Aide going out of business and I'm not fond of CVS or Walgreens so I gave V Care a shot. 1st prescription got the wrong medicine with the wrong label. 2nd time, I was accused of stealing my own meds after I went back the next morning after counting my meds. I was owed 60 and received 42. I was then accused of taking them out and going back for more!!!! I was absolutely appalled as I am 56 years old and have been on the same medications for a decade. It was so embarrassing 😳 I transfered my scripts right away after that...Now, I don't trust you! Plus their hours SUCK! 9 to 5 and closed on weekends. Not worth the headache. Never again!
Amazing people who care. I had a few issues with cost at another pharmacy for a prescribed medication being over $360 dollars.(the three letter pharmacy) V-Care pharmacy took care of everything. I asked them if I would be able to transfer my prescriptions to them and how do I do it. These very nice people said give them my information and they would take care of it. A few hours later I was contacted and it was all taken care of. I was able to pick up my prescription immediately and the cost was less than $5.00 dollars. They were incredibly helpful and polite. They all had great big smiles and made me feel like a welcomed customer. It reminds me of the small town pharmacy I went to in my younger years. I would highly recommend V-Care pharmacy to anyone.
Was able to get dye free amoxicillin for my child who has a sensitivity to dyes! So grateful
This is the only pharmacy I will work with moving forward. The staff is amazing and very pleasant to deal with. Helped me get one of my prescriptions that would have cost me over $300.00 after insurance for $0.00 plus shipped it to my home for nothing, free shipping!!!! Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from but will tell all my friends to switch over ASAP
Horrible Customer Service! I have three people in my family that saw a Dr and needed scripts in the past couple days. I got a text message and called to find out what it was about and for who. It is intimidating these days to just give information out with all the scams. A man with a very thick accent asked my name and birthday. I gave my first name and last...he said he didn't have anything for me. Give me another name. I said do you know which Drs you work with? I was going to ask another question with the Dr's names but didn't get a chance because he hung up on me. I called one of our Drs back and found out it was them. I called the V Pharmacy of NH back. The same person answered. I said Hi I was talking to you earlier and believe you hung up on me. He said you didn't want to give me any information so yes I hung up. As I tried to tell him Yes, I did give you information. He continued to talk over me. I said I was asking a question. He proceeded to tell me that they have 800 calls a day and he doesn't know me. I said so that's how you treat your customers? The whole time talking over me as I talked. He then said give me your information. I said there's no sorry? He said no. No sorry. I will NOT purchase from this company. I'm calling the Dr. back to get the script sent somewhere else. I would give ZERO Stars if possible! HORRIBLE customer service. Who treats people this way?! Their reply doesn't make sense as I DID give the first and last name when asked and I said that in my review. When I asked them a question they hung up on me before I could ask a follow up. I was trying to find out if they worked with my Dr. then I could determine who's prescription it was for. My daughter had eye surgery Saturday and needed follow up, my mom was diagnosed with skin cancer yesterday and I needed a script as well. They also say in their reply: "instead of using lousy words and comments on pharmacy employees, humble request to keep you conversation limited to business in order to get professional services." Your employees are your business. If your employees cannot treat their customers with respect and professional then future customers should know that. Hence why I shared this review in the first place. HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER. Try kindness and talking to your customers not over them or not hanging up on them when they ask a question.
My wife and I have been so happy with the kindness shown to us by this pharmacy. They kindly helped our son when we thought we were running out of options to get his specific prescription filled and I would recommend them to anybody.
I am a physician in Bedford NH, I have heard from my patients who had so many good things to tell me about the pharmacist and the staff. I have had interaction with the pharmacist on several occasions and he was quite cordial and willing to help my patients beyond my expectations. I wish him best wishes and hope he will continue to help the local customers.
I have never been happier with a pharmacy than I am with V-Care. The pharmacist and staff are excellent, and practice a very patient-centered model of care and service. I'll never have prescriptions sent elsewhere. I can't recommend V-Care highly enough.
The best small local pharmacy in the area. Please support small Local businesses! They always answer the phone, So much more personal and better than CVS or other big pharmacies. fast, professional friendly service. I love going here- they always go above and beyond to help me. So much better than the big corporate pharmacies. GO HERE! You won’t be disappointed.
I never realized how horrible I had it at CVS until I made the change to V-Care. They answer the phone quickly and take their time so I don’t feel rushed. They got an rx CVS couldn’t get. The pharmacist went out of his way to find a coupon …
The V-care employee did their best searching the best deal of my prescription. As the result, they saved $90 for me. Very friendly business.
Ph. Rouba is so nice and professional
I love this pharmacy! The customer service is amazing and they truly care about their customers. This is my new pharmacy and I’m not ever going anywhere else!!!
Quick easy transaction. Simple to get appointments . They are all so nice, polite and friendly. I’ll be using them more now that I know they are there.
I just have to say that the pharmacy techs here are some of the most polite and helpful people I have ever spoken to and its consistent every time I talk to them.
Very dirty. Used needles just sitting in open container where you get your shot. Not professional. Don't risk it.
Great place. Staff is friendly and helpful. And they have same day vaccines available.
Ice little pharmacy. Good hours, decent pricing.
They took me as a walk in for my covid booster, and I was in and out in 15 minutes!!
