I showed up at noon for my prescription. They said it would be a 10-15 minute wait, so I went inside, checked in, and sat down so that I’d be visible and readily available. After 40 minutes, I checked in to see what’s wrong and I asked “hey, is my prescription ready?” For the receptionist to say “I don’t know, you gotta sign in again, do you have text alerts?” When the sign in does not even have an entry or option to set that up. She then goes to the back for 5 minutes to come back and say “oh, we thought we had it but it didn’t come on the truck or we can’t find it” and no one knew that before or was able to stop and communicate that to me? Then she says “it’s an otc item your insurance doesn’t cover, but it’ll be cheaper anyways.” BUT, it cost the same as on my prescription so that’s irrelevant. Someone could have told me to get it otc or said something, ANYTHING at all. 8-10 people on staff and no one knows what’s going on, fantastic.
Please see the updated hours for this CVS Pharmacy location. This location is located across from Children’s Hospital on the corner of Parsons & Livingston Ave. Before, they closed at 10pm but are now closing at 9pm. The staff are not the friendliest people in the world and this location is typically pretty busy at all hours. There are sometimes a few sketchy individuals who come into this location. During my last visit, I did not see a security officer in site.
The pharmacy workers are sum of the RUDEST, DISRESPECTFUL ppl I've ever dealt with. They are NEVERRRR nice & ALWAYS tell me incorrect times to pick scripts up. They REALLY SERIOUSLY need to get an ENTIRE new staff bcuz they act like they HATE working there. I've NEVER done ANYTHING to warrant the mistreatment I've had to endure.
Terrible customer service the other day I came in I saw a worker about to fight the homeless man when she could’ve just went back in the store and ignored him. He was outside and if he would’ve did anything, it would’ve been his fault. She came outside and was reckless go in today they can’t even run a check. They don’t even know how to run a check And then they tell me that it’s been declined, but it hasn’t been declined. Patricia just didn’t know how to run it.
The pharmacy drive thru was really quick the workers was nice and helpful
The team member named Stephanie Taylor was awesome with her customer service. CVS need more team members like her.
I love coming to CVS because the pharmacy technicians take care of me very well. I think they need to be a little bit more faster in the Drive-Thru
There to pick up a medication for my husband. Received a substitution. No problem receiving a substitution however make sure that if the means of delivery have changed (pin device versus a vial), then make sure that the prescription given to us comes with the supply of syringes. As we can not use the medication in a vial with pin needles. 🤦🏾♀️
Quick and accurate service,,.doctor sent over internet,,it was ready 5min
The pharmacy drive thru closes at 4 or 5 throughout the week with no rhyme or reason and is just altogether closed on the weekends? It has been this way for a few months now. The line inside is always long and the service is slow. I also had the experience of consulting a pharmacist via the tech ringing me up and not only misunderstanding my initial question, but then having to discuss my medication concerns halfway across the pharmacy with a whole line of people behind me. I’m going to be looking for a different pharmacy. I can empathize with staffing shortages but there was no need for the entire pharmacy to know my business.
