I had a headache of a situation with a prescription today, and a representative named Austin made it a lot easier. My experience with Avita has always been positive, but Austin made several calls for me to try to get an unavailable prescription filled elsewhere. When that failed, he called my doctor for me and easily sorted out the prescription problem. Austin was persistent in getting me the help I needed and saved me a lot of trouble today while I'm in a great deal of pain. Much appreciated and give that guy a raise!
Long's used to be a great pharmacy. I'm not sure what has been going on recently but I now call it the worse pharmacy on the planet. The 1st issue I had with the specialty pharmacy was with a new injectable prescription. I kept calling and they told me that my insurance had not approved it. I finally called my doctor and they said it had been approved for a week and was just sitting at Long's. One call from the doctor and it was shipped that day. Not sure what that was about but that was completely unacceptable. The next issue was with the refill of that said injectable. I received a defective vile from Long's and could not take the shot I desperately needed. I called Long's pharmacy and the drug company and the drug company agreed to send a replacement to Longs for me. Longs refused to send me the medication until they spoke to the drug company. I received a call back from Tiffany at Longs on Friday indicating that she spoke to the drug company and it would be sent out overnight to them on Monday. They would then overnight it to me to receive on Tuesday. When I called to discuss this on Monday, Tiffany denied the conversation on Friday and said she never made the call to me. Funny, I can show a call from Longs on my cell phone. Anyway, they refused to send me the replacement and left me without any medication at all. Then Garrett, the very rude pharmacy manager decided that he wanted to get into a argument with my husband and told him to take our business elsewhere. Not professional, not acceptable, and the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy is going to know about these 2 separate issues. I do not trust anyone at this pharmacy since they have lied. Completely unacceptable.
I do not take unknown calls. Avita calls from a different number every time. I miss there falls so meds ilare not shipped. When I call them some quack tell me I have to save each number they call from to assure shipment. There has to be a better way. Bright now they have not shipped a prescription they told me would go out on Monday. I need to find a more reliable pharmacy.
Little interaction with the compounding pharmacy on Millwood. Tried to charge us twice on the original prescription that was not filled correctly. Employees are too busy to help and are not very knowledgeable or helpful in resolving R/X issues. Three days and 6 employees later that finally got it fixed.
I'm a healthcare provider, longs drugs refuses to fill prescriptions because I was out of state. I was a student on clinical rotations but they did not care. I want a drug store to not just immediately turn me away, even with my student and hospital id . I understand the role of pharmacy and trying to protect the general public as well as prescription fraud but you have to have more of a reason than just out of state
Had an issue with my RX not being delivered to me as usual causing me to be late with my meds--UPS was at fault. Spoke to Tyler and Jameson--very helpful and professional answering all my questions and getting this issue resolved. Thank you!!!
Ms.Adriana from the pharmacy was the most amazing person i have ever meet. She help me so much in the matter of a few minutes i would greatly recommend.

The lady who helped me was very nice and very friendly! They had the medicine that I needed too.Very clean inside. I wish they had one in West Columbia. Thank you for helping me Longs Drugs Pharmacy.
