I would give 0 stars if there was an option. CVS does not accept nor serve veterans with VA healthcare. They have outdated information which constantly need to be made aware of. I will take my business elsewhere.

This one star is more than what they deserve for this location. This Pharmacy and the staff need a lot of improvement and training, they NEVER answer the phone and they close the pharmacy during lunchtime instead of going to lunch on shifts. Also, nobody use name tag and they refuse to let the customers pay for OTC in the pharmacy section. This location is not recommended and they have the lowest level of customer services reviews for long time between all other CVS in the area. Obviously CVS management doesn't care about their staff behavior of the customer reviews.

This used to be a good pharmacy with great staff and personal service. Been coming here since 2007. As of 2023, the staff has completely changed. The techs are not detail oriented, and make mistakes. I've been filling the same meds at this pharmacy for 16 years but now there's always some issues with them getting the script wrong. Plus this pharmacy is only open till 7pm. And now the only way to reach a live person is to leave a message. I will be looking to switch pharmacies.

Went to pickup medication at around 5:20pm, they close at 7pm. They said they had to send it back as I didn’t pickup before (was outside the country). They said they cannot get it ready next 1-2 hours even and not even the following day morning hours. Worst team, harsh too. I went to CVS Kendall and job was done in 15 mins.

Management needs to step in here big time. The pharmacists and / or technicians are unexperienced, communication is lacking heavily, if you can't fill a prescription or have to go to another location, pick up the phone and call the customer, its not rocket science - if you can go to pharm school for years, you can figure out how to not waste peoples time. The lines there are super long and it always takes extremely long to fill anything, even when they text you its ready. For such a nice town and location, this pharmacy is terrible. Everyone working there needs to be retrained on how to manage customers, time, communication skills etc. 2 stars because the people working there are nice people but seriously needs work on training employees/pharmacists. I hope that someone reads this review and steps in and makes a change.

Worst ever customer service by Pharmacists at CVS Pharmacy, Rt 1, Monmouth Junction, NJ. The younger generation pharmacists don’t have patience to listen to customer and they don’t know the value and importance of prescription medication. They are spending time chatting with their colleagues. All the pharmacists are highly paid only to serve the people. It’s a shame on them. In this modern world, all the people have to rely upon the medicines one way or another. The people without taking medicines are rare these days and even the pharmacist themselves have to take them at some point of time. They have to think twice before they act. Nothing will go wrong if they spend couple of minutes more to listen and address instead of hurrying to complete the task. Thanks

"Pathetic customer service". I have been refilling my medications from cvs Monmouth junction for over 3 years. I ran out of my branded diabetic medication so i asked my doctor. She sent a prescription on Tuesday to this cvs. Cvs told me that they dont stock this medication and I will get it on Friday. I asked if it is OK to skip the medication for 3 days and the pharmacist said it's upto me as I am not insulin dependent. I asked if they could transfer it to any other pharmacy as i am not feeling good after skipping my doses. They did ransfer it to cvs Hightstown road Princeton NJ location. Next day, when I went to pickup the medication, it was only for 30 days instead of 90. I asked them if they have it for 90 days. The pharmacist shouted at me saying that i am lucky to get this medication. Felt so miserable being at the mercy of these pharmacies. Would try some other alternative medication or pharmacy chain even it is far from my home.

The Clark and the Pharmacist are both friendly and very helpful. They also provided a ways that I could get a discount. My Rx are always filled above average quickly. The Monmouth Junction, NJ is my favorite location.

Absolutely HORRIBLE! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! There is ALWAYS a long line through the end of the isle and the wait (if waiting) is even worse!! My prescription was sent over the day before and my app said in process but was not filled til the following day and that was when it was picked up so had to wait additional time. I never see anyone there helping I don't know what is going on. I have been going there every month for years and it has NEVER been like this! I will say there is an employee named Melissa and she is AMAZING!!! THE ONLY ONE that will go out of her way to help me with any questions I have and tried to speed up the process of drop off & waiting to pick up!! This specific pharmacy needs MORE employees like her!!
