I have used Kroger for years. I actually transferred my stuff from Walgreens to here many years ago. They used to be absolutely wonderful to work with and their service was unmatched. I feel bad for the employees here now. To put it matter of factly, they are severely under staffed and over worked. I consistently see the same people here over and over again with no relief. I gone to Kroger on Sundays where they are closed because no pharmacist available to work. This is a corporate problem! Period! Kroger has a person that over sees this division and they are not giving them what they need to run efficently and effectively for the community. It's not fair to anyone. If you want to complain, as I do too.. Its falling on deaf ears until it goes up the ladder. We need to demand they get help from the person who should be providing this to them. I'm not too sure how to reach her, but I've attached the president of Kroger Health to this review. Let's help get them help for the ccommunity. I'm going to try and get more contact info. Maybe then, we would see a shift in attitudes and behaviors. I know I don't like being the only one to do work 60-70 hours a week they need more dedicated and educated individuals to staff this location. Kroger Corporate should be ashamed they have let this go in this long!

Absolutely horrible service! They refused to fill my medication because they said it was a day to early. But it had been 29 days! Doctor's office had to call and transfer all my perception over, because they refused to do so in a timely manner. Never going there again! You all should be ashamed of yourself leaving people without there medication that a doctor's office prescribed. Im have a serious medical condition and can't go without my medication everyday.

Pharmacist treated me like a drug addict for wanting ADHD medicine filled and said he didnt want to have to deal with the DEA over shady things when I had a prescription from a doctor for the medicine.

Sitting in the drive thru for 20 mins and counting while only 3 cars were ahead of me is wild!

Horrendous. Had a prescription filled on Friday for prevention of my dog’s debilitating seizures at the Fern Creek location up the street. When I show up on Saturday they are out of stock and tell me it won’t be available till Monday afternoon, after she will have run out… They looked around the area to see if any other Kroger pharmacies had it available and Mt. Washington, not too far down the road, had the medicine she needs. They “profiled” it and told me to go to that location. I said great, I’ll drive right down there. When I get there, I’m informed the medication is still “in progress” at the other location and it needs to be profiled before they can fill it at Mt. Washington. I told them Fern Creek assured me it was profiled. Instead of offering to call and sort it out, they told me to call Fern Creek myself. So that’s what I did and sure enough, I’m assured AGAIN it’s profiled. Now I’m really livid and go back up to the technician to say they have 110% confirmed it’s profiled. That’s when they finally decided to practice actual customer service and called the Fern Creek location themselves. Another 10-15 minutes and I finally had the medicine my dog desperately needs. Complete incompetence. This isn’t retail where we’re talking about clothes, toys, appliances, or other trivial stuff that isn’t very urgent. My dog literally needs this so she’s not hospitalized with a cluster seizure and the lack of urgency and initiative on the staff’s part cost me about 2 hours of unnecessary stress, worrying about my dog’s well being. Get it together so people are able to get the meds they need for themselves and their cats or dogs. Unacceptable.

The worst customer service! I wish I could rate a ‘0’. I have used Kroger pharmacy in other states for many years. Moving here I thought this one would be just as good. Nope! They never have half the prescriptions I need (always on back order) and tell me the prescriptions that they do have will take hours to fill. Well, after this morning with my 16 yo son in the car who had just had his wisdom teeth removed (I had to go inside because once again their drive thru was closed), they said I had to come back after 2pm because they were going to lunch. Do what?! I told her he was out in the car, I’m his sole provider today and I would have to put him back in car just to come get his medicine. She shrugged her shoulders and said “Oh well!” I told her to forget it and that I would NEVER fill another prescription with them. They completely lost my business. But I’m sure they don’t care. I’m just 1 number in their thousands of customers.

Pharmacy Tech was rude and judgmental to the fact that I was using a savings card to afford my perscription. I stepped out of line to make sure I had the correct information (and I did) and she returned to let me know that $24.99 was a good price for my regular $1500 medication as if everyone just has or doesn't deserve the savings. I then paid for the medication because she would not spend the time to help me fix it. She advised I call the company. After calling I was let know the pharmacy did in fact make the mistake.

They are SLOW. Went inside to the pharmacy on a Tuesday night after I had called in a prescription the day before. The pharmacy worker told me it would be ready the next day, on Wednesday, at noon. That was fine by me. I got to the drive thru at 5pm, well after when it should be ready. One of the pharmacy workers told me it was canceled and not refilled. I did not cancel it nor did my doctor. So she told me she would put it on high priority for 7pm. Came back at 7pm with the drive thru FULL of cars. While waitintg in line, it did not move at all. So now my boyfriend is currently inside trying to get my prescription. It has been 30 minutes and he still hasn’t come back out. Will definitely switch from Kroger, they are incompetent at their jobs.

This pharmacy is the busiest for this once small town area that seems to have tripled overnight. But you will still find the most caring pharmacist, and the pharmacy techs are always pleasant & helpful. I moved out here almost seven years ago & was a Rite Aid customer, which I loved. When Walgreens bought Rite Aid & they thought patients would be forced to stay with Walgreens and their ridiculous policies, making patients feel like criminals, thinking they have the right to question why a script was written, & thinking they have the authority to deny a patient the medication a doctor prescribed even though said medication is covered under patients insurance, patient has never had this medication prior to current script. I could go on & on, but instead I'll just say Ms Sherry is amazing, as well as the other techs! And since this is a pharmacy I'll add this .... treat others as you wanted to be treated. Don't go up there screaming at these wonderful people, (very short staffed & working long hours) because your pain meds aren't due for refill for two more days. Who's fault is that, really?

I went for my second COVID vaccine and they were RUDE RUDE RUDE. They (pharmacist and tech I believe) first said they couldn't give it to me because of the time frame between the first and second was too long. They told me I needed my Doctor to approve it. I called my doctor and she APPROVED it and didn't understand why they didn't want to give it me. Meanwhile I have my 2-year-old yelling while I'm trying to make phone calls. I told them my doctor said it was ok and they they told me to wait. I waited for another 20-30 minutes with a 2-year-old only for the rude lady to tell me my insurance card wasn't valid and I need to call them. I called my insurance and they said it was fine. I was OVER dealing with these people that seemed to be on some type of power trip telling people NO. So here is the best part, I went to the Shepherdsville Kroger and got the vaccine with no question, my insurance was fine and they were NICE!!!! I will never go to this pharmacy again. These people are on a different level of rude. Do yourself a favor and go to Shepherdsville.

Poor customer service. Unusually long waits for refills. Always short staffed. Drive-thru is a hit or miss if they're open. B&B is a much better option and only a half mile away from Kroger Pharmacy in Mt. Washington

Wonderful. I was there on 09/05. They were fast, courteous, friendly, and extremely helpful. The Pharmacist even came out, offered advice, and answered questions. Based on some past posts, I suppose everyone has bad days or hires someone who turns out to be a bad fit for the role. My experience with them yesterday was 100% top notch.

Do not try to talk to pharmacist they will not answer a phone, will not call back. Called in Sunday , now on Saturday still no text that it is ready. And it had a refill. Look some place else if you want a good pharmacist. I have had it.

Just no, is all I have to say. The multiple other reviews about this place is enough for me. Never again will I even attempt to use them for a prescription.
