Family Pharmacy

Wonderful pharmacy. They truly care about people. UPDATE: After being their customer for a few months, there is one employee who is very rude. I know her name but not sure which one it is. If she can’t handle customers, she should go elsewhere. August update. Called and the rude employee answered. As soon as I tell her who I am, her tone changes (to the negative). I called to see if a scrip was ready that my doc sent 2 days prior. She said there was nothing on file to be filled. Called my doctors office. I’m not really sure why the pharmacy kicked it back to my doctors office but they did. Doc increased the dosage to 4mg. They were confused as they didn’t know if it was supposed to be 2 or 4 mg. I’d also like to know why the employee lied and said there was nothing on file. I cannot go one day without this medication. I am looking into mail order so I don’t have to deal with such nonsense.

The blond and brunette are both extremely inhospitable. Both have cold demeanors. Will be moving myself and families prescription to another place. That has welcoming people.

Always friendly and I love how the staff go out of their way to help and the delivery guys are always so nice as well

The staff at Family Pharmacy goes above and beyond to give excellent customer service. They greet me by name and always give me a smile. My prescriptions are filled quickly and all questions are answered when I have a question. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

My previous pharmacy was meijers on Hill rd my doctor sent my prescription to them and I literally had to wait 2 to 3 days for my medication and it wasn’t ready to pick up and when I called them they said they were out of stock and had to order them only god knows how long it would’ve have taken them to get my prescription ready so I called my doctor and transferred my prescription to Family pharmacy and literally not even an hour after all my prescriptions were ready for pick up and I went in there they were all respectful and generous and got my medication ready I highly recommend anyone to go there because they are literally the best they deserve more than 5 stars.

This is a great Pharmacy..I needed a new Pharmacy when my Rite Aid Pharmacy closed..I am happy I close Family Pharmacy

I really was impressed with the service when I made my switch for Meijer's to this pharmacy now I am left feeling very disappointed in the service and how inconsistent the quality of customer service has been for me..The blonde lady with glasses is absolutely terrible and rude..she gives incorrect information concerning your refills and it literally takes all day for them to process your order..I think I will try another pharmacy

This company has went WAY downhill. I just had an experience when I called before I went up to Family Pharmacy to find out the total copay amount so I would have the appropriate amount of money to pay and I was told one amount, then when I went in and the staff rang me up it was 5 times the amount I was told over the phone. The blond girl with dark glasses (I didn’t catch her name) helped me and she was so rude and short with me that none of it made sense, I had someone with me and even she noticed how rude the checkout clerk was too. When I had some questions at the counter about my medications she ignored 3/4’s of them and I had to repeat myself three different times. When I went out to my car I checked over what exactly was in the bag and I noticed that one of my prescriptions was only 1/3 filled. So I went back in and at the counter was a different clerk almost as if she had been waiting for me. Anyhow, I told her of the situation and instead of Family Pharmacy correcting their OWN ERROR swiftly, the lady told me that I’d have to wait an additional 20 plus minutes, mind you I had already waited my 1 hour plus in line already. I went went back out to my vehicle and when I went back in to re-pick my Rx back up, well the blond haired young lady with dark glasses rang me up again, to which I was surprised because she told me that there was an up charge of 3x’s the amount I normally pay for that certain generic prescription, she already had the $1.20 in her hand without opening the register and quickly dropped my $1.20 in my hand and told me of the new charge of $3.60, well the amount I was initially told on the phone before arriving there was only $1 more so I wasn’t prepared for that amount and since I’ve never paid over $1 for that medication ever before I certainly wasn’t prepared for this. When I asked her about it, again she was rude and short and didn’t seem to want to answer my questions. I don’t know but this whole experience left a VERY BAD taste in my mouth. It seems that I was highly inconvenienced BIG time. I didn’t mention that they only had a partial amount of another medication as well, so again I’m inconvenienced by having to come back once again to pick up the rest of the prescription tomorrow when they supposedly receive it. I can take a hint since I’ve used this pharmacy before and I’ve had all of these same medications filled there several times as well and I have never ran into all of these problems. One after another and all in the same day. It’s frustrating for me since their name Family Pharmacy refers to a place that treats you good. Yet, I was far from treated good. I have had some issues with them before but not to this level. So if I could rate them zero stars, I absolutely without a doubt would. Once I pick up this last prescription I’m already invested into, I will give them exactly what they want and run far from this Family Pharmacy on Fenton Rd. The customer service is just disgusting and disrespectful. I don’t care who a person is they shouldn’t be treated like I was today. This goes to show that Family Pharmacy judges a book by its cover. There’s FAR too too much of that seeming to go around nowadays. Can’t we just learn to be kinder to one another, it goes so much farther than disrespect for one another.

I’m Ronald Fraley using my wife’s phone sorry. Family pharmacy is great. Been going there for years. I even moved 20 miles away but I still go there. Never a long wait like them chain pharmacies.
