Can be hit or miss with pharmacist they do tend to treat you like you shouldn’t be getting scrip ex: They will often call the doctor to recheck the precautions even tho like many others have mentioned they are called in beforehand. Have gift options, kind of expensive though and there was a ice cream bar but I have not seen anyone working behind it in awhile.
This Livingston staple is always worth a visit. The basics are all stocked as expected, but there are so many extra sundries available if you look hard enough. The store is well appointed and tidy, and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is sweet, which makes every trip in a treat.
Has a lot of gifts big shopping area as well as drug store
Very unhelpful, unprofessional and rude. I would advise another place. They lied to me and I believe their policies violate state law.
The woman pharmacist needs a job that doesn’t involve speaking with customers. She was extremely rude when asked if it was possible to apply a GoodRX code to a $500 prescription (every other pharmacy accepts this). This prescription is $300 at Costco. She would not let us transfer the prescription elsewhere either. She needs a job change, or maybe therapy, whatever would make her more helpful and pleasant.
I'm 40 years old now and have been going to this Western Drug with my Grammy since I was 10 years old. They have a pharmacy as well as various gifts and fresh popcorn along with a soda fountain and cool gifts in addition to the products you'd generally find at a pharmacy. The people are respectful and respectable people who work for a living and are happy to answer questions. Lot of cool things there.
I was “unhelped” today - 20 minutes ago - by the absolute rudest pharmacy lady ever. She patronized and gave the weirdest attitude. I have explained my request and that I am European and not only did she not offer a solution, she fully refused to help and turned her back on me after being rude and dismissive. Get your act together, accept the world is bigger and more diverse and if not, stop working with fellow human beings.
Every month I get the same prescription. Every month I have to wait and wait to pick it up. I call it in 5 days before needed. I call in 7 days before needed and they fail me every time. My health insurance requires that I use Western Drug or I would be going elsewhere. Beware, if you don’t need to use Western Drug for your medications. I would not.
Everyone is kind and helpful. They have beautiful handmade gifts and a wide variety of personal care products. Great store, and they have an ice cream bar too!
Good selection, but they do not put prices on things. I refuse to shop anywhere retail that does not put prices on their items. Foodworks, Town and Country, and Albertsons all have good selection, and clearly price their items.
