Normally, this Pharmacy is adequate. However, my last interaction was a phone call inquiring about an out-of-stock medication. The associate, Mary, was quite rude. She offered no further assistance and pretty much hung up the phone when I said I suppose I don't have any choice but to cancel that medication.
Horrible rude staff. Completely self serving. They Act as though you're an inconvenience when trying to fill medications. Their tone is always that you should understand their mistake and they are never willing to correct it only get to it when they have time. I've never had such a horrible experience or delt with a more inept pharmacy.
Have been going here for years not to many problems untill yesterday my doctor tried to work with the dark haired lady at the drive thru and the blonde girl .the one lady through the phone at me into the glass really hard I thought it was going to break .then the blonde was cursing at me through the phone could not believe the way I was being treated. The most shocking was the lady that was riding with me they took her name and the next day when she was to fill her medication ontime from her doctor they told them they would not fill it .cause they no she was in the vehicle that had a issue the day before. The doctor had to change to the other pharmacy . Something needs to be done here. There was no rudeness directed towards them to be treated like this.trying to find director/vice president or whoever should report this to.
I won’t sit here and bash the pharmacist because I believe the issue is the Kroger employees that are in there to assist and they seem to lack knowledge that is needed when looking up details regarding medications. My doctor sent a new prescription over ‘not new’ just the normal one that ran out. From previous experience with a controlled substance it has to be filled within a 2 weeks of being written by the doctor. I stopped in to make sure there were no issues because I was due to need it by Friday. Lady says sure no problem . Call Thursday and say okay I need that one filled. Sure great! Friday rolls around and then I’m told it had expired. Now why couldn’t they have told me from the 2 times I stopped in? Doctor send it right over again because there are laws and I understand that. I call and AGAIN to make sure my Doctor did, now they are telling me I can’t have it until the 16th when my last one was dispensed on the 10th??? Some of us actually need these meds to function normally. Again I believe whole heartedly everyone is short handed but I did everything in my power to prevent the hiccups. Please please get these Kroger employees on the same page. DATES MATTER!!
By far the worst pharmacy I’ve had to deal with. Constantly puts you on hold or just hangs up on you without even talking to you. For over 30 minutes just trying to do something that’ll take 2 minutes and they won’t even answer me. Just hang up after sitting on hold for 5 min. You guys aren’t that busy. If you can try to avoid them.
Been using the Johnstown store for prescriptions for many years. Only a couple of hiccups in all those years, mainly with the drive thru. There were times when it should have been open but was closed and I wasted my time driving there. Then there was one time that one of my prescriptions went missing between the store and home, although I don't think it actually got to the store from wherever it gets originally shipped from. When I called, they said their records show it was included with the rest of my prescriptions. They did look around the area but didn't find it. They agreed to refill it outside of my insurance so I didn't have to go without it for another month. Yes, I had to pay full price for it but it wasn't one of the more expensive ones and I really couldn't afford to go without it for a month. But all in all, if you go at the right time, the drive-thru is quick and easy and the person helping you is courteous and efficient. I do think some of the staff clearly don't want to be there some days but don't we all have those days at work?
Always pleasant and helpful.
I’ve never had a problem with any of the girls always professional and scripts ready on time
A bit slow at times but there usually super busy so understandable and they are all super helpful and get to know most of there customers
Everytime I call them they just let it ring on forever like they hope you'll hang up. The least they can do is pick up and ask if we can hold for a few moments so we don't feel ignored. Poor customer service!
