Avoid this place at all costs. I reached out to Katz Pharmacy as a new customer, hoping to support a small, local business — big mistake. The woman who answered the phone was shockingly rude, dismissive, and downright judgmental. The moment I mentioned the prescription I needed filled, she cut me off and told me, with zero professionalism, that they’re not accepting new patients for that medication because it’s “too hard to get.” Excuse me? That’s not how you speak to anyone, let alone a potential customer. If your staff can’t be bothered to treat people with basic respect and decency, you don’t deserve anyone’s business. I was ready and willing to give mine to a local spot — but Katz made it crystal clear they’re not worth the time or trust. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere. This place is a joke.
I switched to Katz a few years ago to support a local business instead of a chain. The customer service has been top notch. They communicate well and my prescriptions are ready quickly and when they say they will be. I can't recommend them enough and will never go back to a chain pharmacy.
I switched to Katz from a big chain in order to support a local business and it truly changed my life and made accessing my medication infinitely easier with minimal wait time and never waiting on infinite hold when I called. I really cannot say enough great things about Katz. Not only does the staff go above and beyond to advocate for their customers, they are efficient and patient and just overall lovely people. I actually look forward to going in and saying hi when I pick up scripts. I highly recommend Katz.
They are judgmental and stereotype you, creating barriers to obtaining Dr ordered prescriptions if they dont agree with the medications you take. They have an attitude on the phone and I do not feel comfortable even calling to see if a medication is ready. It's beyond insulting. If they happen to be out of your med, don't expect them to call when they get it in. You have to keep calling to check if it is there which, again, you get an attitude for calling to check but you literally can wait for 4 weeks so as not to ruffle their feathers and no one will ever call to update you.
Sadly, I will be using another pharmacy. When I called about a prescription I was unsure I picked up the pharmacist was immediately rude, accusatory and argumentative. This is after being a customer for two years with no questions or problems. I would expect a small pharmacy to know it's customers and offer assistance.
Katz took care of me and my kiddo. He was having trouble taking medicine and they gave me some options that worked out! +1 for being an independent pharmacy and not a gigantic company
Kindest people, most professional and efficient service. If your insurance accepts Katz, make the switch from CVS. I am glad I did!
Terrible customer service. I bought a shower chair for $42 on a Friday. I gave it to the individual that was going to use it, but the seat I purchased had no arms. I asked if I could please return the chair (on the following Monday) and they were not very friendly and told me they only have a 1 day return policy. Will not be returning and will not recommend, too many options in neighboring towns with better customer service
Katz Pharmacy has always been a great place to get prescriptions filled. They always answer questions about the medication and things that need to be known. Just a superior Pharmacy all around
I started coming here a couple of years ago when another place didn't carry what I needed. Since then, the transactions I've had have always been quick, simple, and hassle-free.
