Publix Pharmacy at Gervais Place

Always have my prescription ready when they tell me. Prescriptions are always correct. Pharmacy staff is friendly and helpful and courteous.

Celeste(cashier) and Alexis(pharmacist)are incredibly rude. Already had a bad experience with Celeste on the phone after she told me it’s an additional 2 hours to put back some pills that I couldn’t afford before I could pick my 30 day supply up. So I was told my meds would be ready at 3 pm. (Mind you I requested a refill online on Friday and it’s been 3 days). I said okay that’s fine. Came in at 6 pm and they had not started them. While I was confused about the situation and talking to a different employee Celeste cut me off and yelled from the other side of the pharmacy “don’t lie that’s not what I said”. When she didn’t hear ANYTHING I said. I said whoever I spoke to on the phone said it would be ready at 3 pm. Alexis decided to also chime in and say k well it’s not. she said 5 more minutes so it’s 5 more minutes. While checking me out Celeste rudely said “speak up can’t hear you” while Alexis laughed. I’ve never had a bad encounter with anyone here until I met them today and I’ve been filling here for years. Always had great experiences with the usual staff like Laura and Mike. Literally used to brag about yalls customer service. Will never be coming back and encourage people not to. Sorry yall had a hard day but maybe you’re in the wrong field. Congrats to Alexis and Celeste for being the Publix mean girl bullies ✨ Also Alexis I peeped the way you treated that rude white woman ahead of me with kindness in a similar situation, but it’s different for me, a POC? :)

By far the best pharmacy in all of Columbia with the most helpful and friendly pharmacists! I was having a difficult time getting my daughter's prescription and the pharmacist so graciously called her Dr's office and was able to work out how to get it. Customer service here is top notch and I won't be filling prescriptions anywhere else!

Laura, the lead pharmacist, and her gang are thoughtful, patient, kind and extremely helpful.
