Appleton Hometown Pharmacy

I'm on a large number of medications and 2 diabetes related things I desperately need, they don't have. I recently moved back to Appleton and now because of this I have to call all of my various types of doctors and try to get them completely reperscribed. Don't use this company. Their failure is making things very difficult. I hope they go out of business.

I LOVE Hometown pharmacy!! I've been coming here for years and have had a wonderful and positive experiences! The pharmacy staff knows me by name and they are so helpful and knowledgeable!! I can't recommend them enough! ❤️

I’ve unfortunately had to use pharmacies for the past 15 years monthly, and I will never go anywhere else as long as Schultz Pharmacy keeps teams like they have now. Not just the pharmacist, but the whole team. Great service. Always treated me with respect and always asking and retaining conversations that we’ve had previously. Sounds kind of sappy, but for what it’s worth feels kind of like family that you only see once a month because of how much they care.

They need to improve their HIPAA compliance. The last time I picked up my prescription at the counter and was having the technician explain the medication to me there was no privacy. You see after being called up after a short wait while my prescription was being filled, I patiently waited a few short steps away, as far as I could and out of ear shot of another customer in the adjacent line at the counter. Then an older gentleman, completely oblivious to me waiting, cut in front to buy a candy bar. The employee at the counter told this person that I was next in line and had to wait. This moron then stood one foot away and started listening to the counter person and myself do business. I did ask the guy to back up and mentioned I needed privacy. But I guess this guy was too thick in the head and did not know what I meant. He stood there all the while we spoke. Hometown Pharmacy needs to educate their employees on HIPAA rules and have them followed. This includes taking steps to prevent customers from hearing other customers interactions with their employees. There is not enough of an area designated for prescription pick, it is so close to the display racks to the rear and other store traffic comes in front right across the counter, so there is no real privacy. This should not be. Otherwise, I do like this pharmacy because the staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Now following HIPAA rules is another thing.

I don't know how my husband's prescriptions and delivery fees keeps falling through the cracks. Reading the reviews, sounds like so many happy customers. But since we have started with them last October I have had an issue every single month. Between missing prescriptions or charging us for delivery even though they said there was no fee. It's handy to have them delivered, but I'm ready to change pharmacies.

Best pharmacy ever. So convenient and they are always so kind. They always somehow have my prescription in stock too (there's been a shortage for over a year and this is the only place I can ever get it!).

We have been serviced by Warren and his staff for over 15 years. They provide excellent service, and personal service. They go out of their way to look out for you, not just hand out drugs! I have had some significant medical issues that with their help I have been able to over come. A great pharmacist is as important as a good Dr. Warren & his staff are GREAT!
