I really don’t know where to begin on this. The pharmacy is a 20 minute drive from my home. I called before coming, and was told the medicine would be ready in a maximum of 30 minutes (probably sooner). I drove there and walked around a few minutes, giving more than the 30 minutes they said they needed. When I went to pick up the meds, they said they were working on it and that it would be another 30 minutes. I had to get my kids to a school event, so the needed meds didn’t get picked up. I did get a nice lecture from the tech with lots of excuses. What I don’t get were some important meds. I expect better from the Publix brand.
I absolutely love the Pharmacy staff. They all are very helpful and willing to help.
Nice staff but I can’t say enough about the pharmacy staff. They are so warm and have a personal touch. Deb is my fav but nearly all of them are great! The pharmacists never make you feel like a bother for asking questions either!
Friendly staff, and they promptly call you when there is an insurance issue. The only issue I have is when they actually fill the prescription. It doesn't seem to matter how long I wait to pick up my prescription after it has been called in, it is never ready. In fact, I get the same thing each time, "We are still working on that. Do you want to wait?" I don't know what the real reason is, but it sure seems like they wait for you to come and then start to fill the prescription. I understand waiting if I go directly from the doctor's office to the pharmacy, but there have been times when I have waited up to 5 hours, and still the same thing.
Every time I walk into this (and every other) Publix, I see happy employees. That means that upper management is doing an awesome job at treating their employees well!! Their pharmacy also offers phenomenal pricing for prescriptions for people without insurance.
Went into the store for the first time, bought arugula salad, this morning my refrigerator stunk, it was the arugula. They did not sell swordfish nor did they sell fresh market my at the seafood counter, the employees were very nice though.
Sorry. I originally posted about the store in general. The pharmacy is nice, and the people are helpful. We come get our flu shots here every year for the $10 gift card.
they never seem to have certain medications in stock. no matter when i ask for the prescription to be ready, it hardly ever is. the employees working right now don't seem to know things that even tech's should know.
Quick, very nice, and efficient.
This Publix seems to be located in a slightly more run down part of Irmo... But never the less, the people who work here are all very nice and friendly. I like shopping here as opposed to Walmart for the higher quality service we get at Public in general.
