Claypool Hill Pharmacy is the best! They are professional, polite, and knowledgeable. The pharmacists and techs provide quality care and service. I'm very thankful for our local pharmacy.

Such an excellent Pharmacy, best around the SWVA region for sure. Always timely on refills, returning calls, questions, making sure you get your refills when you need them. Such great staff, which in turn makes for a proper and professionally ran business, everyone is polite and respectful. May God bless you all abundantly and my family and I look forward to many more years with them!

Jody and his whole entire staff are fantastic! Everyone is always friendly and concerned about you and letting you know they hope you feel better. I highly recommend them to anyone in the SWVA area that is looking for a fantastic pharmacy. Also if you are from out of town and need your meds they are the best place to go. They go above and beyond for their clients and will call the Dr for you to get your refills or find out where your prescription is at. They always return your calls, have fast service and will sync up your meds for you to have less trips to the pharmacy.

I moved here from Florida to take care of my loving and kind Mother that has since left us due to her illness. When I refused to go to CVS , I thought I would try K-Mart. I met the most wonderful group of people that really did care about both of us as human beings. They treated me like we were the only two customers they had. Some of the time I would go there in tears because Mother was so sick. I always left K-Mart with a smile on my face. They didn’t realize how much I needed a bit of attention, a joke or two, and all of the kindness that they gave me. It dried up my tears,and by the way, Mother’s medication seemed to change twice a week. Everything was so complicated and sad and confusing because I just couldn’t make her better. Couldn’t fix her!! Had to cope with it all tho. I carefully checked Mother’s medication and mine as well. They never made a mistake with our medicine! I didn’t leave the house often as I wanted to stay with Mother during her fragile state. But it always make my day a little when I got to see my pharmacy people that treated me like family. Well, long story short, I was one of Jody and Shannon’s customers THE VERY DAY THEY OPENED CLAYPOOL PHARMACY. Hey, that was many years ago and I’m still treated like family once a month when I get my medicine. Still no mistakes with my meds, and I check them all when I get home.😊 Not sure how they managed to find wonderful people to employ, but they sure knew how to hire a professional staff that is on the ball. Only pharmacy for me for sure!!!

This is the only pharmacy I use, Jody and Shannon (and all the employees) are always super helpful and friendly!! It’s nice to have people who I grew up with and have known taking care of my family!

I had used Walmart when I lived away from here, so when I moved back, I used them out of sheer laziness. After Walmart refused to fill my prescriptions as my doctor prescribed and said I had to buy it over the counter, which made it 10 times more expensive, I was done. Jody and staff have been amazing and fill my prescriptions quickly and accurately and don’t try to pull a fast one on me to increase revenue. I would recommend them to anyone.

Being new to the area I was tired of all the poor customer service and long waits at all these chain pharmacies. I tried Claypool Hill Pharmacy and I was so delighted. Not only is their service great, they are lightning fast at filling prescriptions and.... they were more than willing to price match one of my prescriptions to Wal-Marts $4.00 generics! Lets see what we have here... Better Service, much faster and the same price as Wal-Mart! It's a no brainer!

The most picturesque drug store I've ever seen nestled in the hills of Pounding Mill. The staff is so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable –and on a first-name basis with most all their customers. This is totally different from the experience of a chain store. -Christian
