Honest Rx Pharmacy

Owner is absolutely amazing. Even though this pharmacy doesn't line up with what I need personally right now, I can tell this pharmacy was named after its owner's character. I'm just having an insurance issue that's all, it has nothing to do with the pharmacy it has to do with me if it wasn't though I would be a customer in a hot second. I can't stand big pharmacies, they care about profits not the customer I can really tell the owner cares about customers.

Honest RX is by far the greatest pharmacy in the region. I left my doctor's office and 25 minutes later received a text from honest rx that my prescription was ready. This does not happen with any other pharmacy in the region. In addition, the service is very personal and amazing. This is a small-time business with Big Time service. And finally the prices are better than at other pharmacies. So you can make your own judgment but I would suggest you pick the pharmacy that is the fastest, has the best service, and has the best prices. There's really no other choice but honest RX.

Very reasonable prices, great service, an asset to the community helping everyone, especially low income folks afford medications. Best of all, no worry about if insurance will cover or limit anything, because Honest RX doesn't accept insurance, which must eliminate untold time spent with insurance complexities.

Matt and his staff are, in my experience, a blessing. He's extremely knowledgeable across many drugs and conditions and never hesitates to answer questions. When the insurance companies delay or deny necessary prescriptions for my son or they're just plain too expensive, Matt can usually find us a much more affordable option. Love this place.

Wonderful business with friendly service and absolutely unbeatable prices. Very nice, clean, comfortable, well organized store with many unique items- priced to sell. Pharmacist is readily available, attentive, friendly and genuinely helpful with any questions or concerns with an assistant that is exceptionally friendly, warm & compassionate. I've definitely found my go to pharmacy that is well worth my drive from Waynesboro to Staunton.

This is the only REAL pharmacy in the area. If you want a pharmacy like they used to be when they were all independent - this is it. They answer their phones. The medication is ready when they say it is. You can ask questions. You don’t feel like just another number. NOTE: They don’t take insurance but that is actually a plus. Before you get any medication filled check with them first. Often their cash price is cheaper than your co-pay. No special cards or programs that harvest your data. The price is the price and better than most. Also they often have medication that chain pharmacies do not. Plus they have a full over-the-counter store as well so it really is just one stop shopping. I consider Honest Rx to not only be a business but a community service as what Matt is doing is reaching people that modern healthcare has abandoned. Try them once and you will never go back to a corporate pharmacy again.

Always fast and friendly (also affordable for people who do not have insurance). Not a single complaint!

Excellent service and amazing prices. Honest RX is an amazing asset to the Staunton/ Augusta county area, quietly helping us afford prescriptions when times are tough.

My doctor called in a prescription at one of the national drug chain stores and the cost for one prescription alone was over 350.00. I call Honest Rx and the cost was around 15.00 for the same drug. He doesn't take insurance but the savings outweigh the difference, so Matt has my business for years to come.

Excellent service and price. Far less expensive than any chain drug store or supermarket and I got my prescription is less than 24 hours!!! I've had issues with "prefill" at CVS where they're supposed to prefill your prescription so it's ready on time - never happened and their prices are astronomical. I switched to Kroger but their service went downhill where it took over a week to fill 1 prescription. Honest RX is where I will be going from now on.
