Blue River Pharmacy

I had a very disappointing experience with Blue River Pharmacy. I needed a compounded medication in gel form, but what I received was runny and completely unusable. When I requested a refund, the pharmacist was rude and dismissive. She insisted that my veterinarian (who is three hours behind us) call her directly, and even wanted me to make another trip back to the pharmacy after that conversation. I explained that I didn’t have time to keep going back and forth, especially since the error was on their end. I did eventually receive a refund, but the unprofessional attitude and lack of accountability left me very frustrated. Accuracy and customer service are essential when it comes to medications, and unfortunately, this pharmacy failed on both.

They always have medicine that other pharmacies don't carry. I was out of important medicine that I needed. My original pharmacy had it on backorder and kept saying it was coming but it wasn't. The receptionist at my dr office told me Blue River has everything and they do!

The young man who delivered my prescription a few days back was so nice and very kind! I dint remember his name but he’s a keeper!

Best service and turn around time!!! I had a sick child and we waited over 6 hrs for a prescription that was never filled at Walgreens. I called Blue River they transferred my prescription and had it filled within 30 minutes. Since then we have switched all meds to them and have been so happy!

Best pharmacy in Brownsburg when it comes to personal, friendly customer service. Prescriptions are filled quickly and you don’t feel like “just another number for larger profit” from the other big chain stores.

We've been using Blue River for several years. Their service is beyond measure. They helped advise when a friend needed some equipment for an aging parent. Several times we've gotten calls in off hours because an Rx was called in that was important. They were in prepping for the next day and called to see if we wanted to pick it up. Always friendly and kind. I've never had anything less than a truly positive experience. Support this local business.

So happy to have switched to Blue River Pharmacy. Today, I had a text notification that my prescription was ready for pick up within 35 minutes of leaving the doctor's office. The staff is always super friendly, and the auto refills and text notifications make it easy to stay current with our medications. Three years later and we continue to be so thankful to have Blue River as our pharmacy. Today we needed prescriptions after closing not once but twice due a mix up by the provider, and Blue River has gone above and beyond preparing the first batch of meds within an hour of the pharmacy closing time and now delivering the last one, now way after hours, and they have been super gracious and communicative along the way. Amazing customer service!
