Terrible and unempathetic customer service by their rep. Stephanie B. I was held on the phone for 1 hour ordering an urgent injection-med. The rep made me repeat the same information/answers several times for no reason and showed no urgency and annoyance when I was asked questions. Overall this is one of the worst customer service experiences I've had as all my questions were met with attitude from this rep.
Absolutely awful customer service and incompetent people to include supervisor Michael who could careless about making things right that their untrained unprofessional employees in billing have done. They incorrectly charged over $11,000 to my credit card and after calling several times for a refund, the billing support staff completed wrong forms which continues to delay my refund. I've been dealing with these people since 4/3 and its now 4/18 and despite what they call "escalation process" there is still no update. Not only are they tying up funds on my CC but also costing me charged interest on funds that they mistakenly charged in the first place.
I was like 50% hesitant and 50% nervous when my Doctor sent my specialty RX here because of all the really poor reviews. I thought it was going to be a pain to get my RX each month because of the low star ratings but I have nothing bad to say about these guys! I only call them once a month when I need my RX refilled but for everything else they have this like chat feature where you can leave a comment or a question like 'did my Doctor get back to you?' 'When will my RX ship?' After a little while they answer your question for you, I use this features to get updates on the status of my RX. Once my prior authorization went through, which didn't take long at all, they shipped my medication. My RX is refrigerated so I think they overnight it to my Doctor. Either way I just call them once a month to tell them I need a refill and confirm my info then they contact my Doctor and once they hear from her (usually 24-48 hours) and get some info from her they process my order, fill my RX and ship it out. I get text and email updates so I know when it's being filled and shipped and when my Doctor will get it. So far so good with these guys! I will post if there are any future updates regarding my experiences here.
Took 5.5 MONTHS of back & forth, and finger pointing before my medications were shipped. I called almost daily, and they continued to blame my doctor's office despite the doctor having proof that they had communicated with someone. Once CVS finally got approval from insurance, they failed to include the syringes and sharps containers in my order. When I tried to order them separately was told I couldn't order them without the medications, but they would make a one time addition to my order. Very considerate since I wasn't the one placing the initial order. After they added the "supplies", they dropped one prescription which I had already paid a co-pay for. Can't wait to fight over that. People who are ordering from specialty pharmacies are already under enough stress, and don't need this much aggravation added on. I can't imagine being elderly and trying to work with them, it is hard enough at age 33.
I wish I could give them a 0. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS. They have been extremely negligent and have compromised my health countless times. They tell you that your prescription will ship, and then it never does. No phone call, no notification, nothing. I have gone through so much stress with this company and they are extremely careless. I don't think i've ended a call with them without crying. I have reported them before and I will be reporting them again. PATIENTS DON'T DESERVE THIS. WE ARE TRYING TO BE WELL !! SHAME ON CVS SPECIALTY.
They overcharged me for meds by over 250% compared to other pharmacies. When asked for a break down, tried dodging my calls and made up stories. Make sure you tape the calls, and when they give you a different story the next time, tape that too, and then submit your complaint to the attorney general's office.
This pharmacy filled a 3 month prescription for one month, when called they lied and said prescription said one or three months, I told them it’s always a 3 month, not a new prescription. She then said they had to wait a month before they could reorder it. Yet the same thing happened a year ago and they immediately sent the missing medication. I called my physician office who said the prescription was 3 months and did not say one month. I called insurance who called pharmacy to inquire why it was only filled for one month and they told her same as I was told. I am filing a consumer complaint against them.
i would not even give 1 star. 3 weeks calling daily for a medication. These people do not have a clue and trained very poorly. I had spoke with one person Kirk from the resolution team who was outstanding. 24 hours worth of being on the phone with different people and he resolved my problem in no time. unbelievable. i suggest to ask to speak to the resolution team directly.
From a patient's standpoint, this pharmacy is a nightmare. Countless conversations with them have ended in stress and tears and their response has shown that they could not care less. There have been several occurances where their dropping the ball has forced me to go without prescriptions for a period of time, even DESPITE calling them daily, weeks before I'm out of the med, to make sure everything would go smoothly for once. I think it's time that I switch specialty pharmacies because this pharmacies incompetence is negatively effecting my health.
I've only used this pharmacy twice and BOTH times have had issues. They DON'T deliver the medication when they say. VERY POOR COMMUNICATION. They said that the medication would be delivered yesterday OR today...no time frame..NOTHING. So I've been sitting in my house for the last 2 DAYS..had to reschedule appointments AND it was NOT delivered today. WTF?????? I will NEVER use this pharmacy again...EVER. EXTREMELY disappointed.
