I recently had the pleasure of visiting Northtown Pharmacy, on 04/21/2024 and I couldn't be more impressed! It's truly inspiring to see a pharmacy that is both black-owned and operated. The fast service I received was exceptional, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. It's important for more people to support businesses like this one. I highly recommend Northtown Pharmacy to anyone in the area looking for quality service and a commitment to the community. Let's uplift and support our local businesses!

It is a pleasure to experience Northtown Pharmacy's exceptional customer service. The services provided by Dr. Clark and his team are very professional and encouraging, and I am delighted to have encountered their brand. I plan to use their services again in conjunction with my wife's and my pediatric clinic.

This Pharmacist is the best pharmacy in the best!! Many of my patients come here, and they all have a great experience.

A pharmacy that prioritizes patient well-being. My interactions with Dr. Clark at the pharmacy have consistently been non-transactional. His attentiveness and thoughtful responses to my inquiries have made me feel valued as a patient.

We were introduced to this pharmacy by one of our primary care physicians. I wanted to support them because they are close to home and Black-owned. My prescriptions were sent over, and I received a text notification when they were ready. About a week later, I called to confirm and let them know I had missed the text. I asked the representative to provide the cost so I could be prepared for payment, but I never received a call back. Since I didn’t hear back, I had my husband pick up the prescriptions, assuming we could sort out the pricing in person. When he arrived, he asked if the insurance had been applied, and the representative confirmed that it had. However, the total was still $100—when it should have been covered in full. He brought the prescription home, and I quickly realized it had not been processed through insurance. I called the pharmacy, but the representative lacked professionalism and customer service. I had to repeat my name and date of birth multiple times, and she showed no urgency or remorse for the mistake. Despite having my insurance information on file, she asked for it again—indicating they never had it properly entered. After being placed on hold, I was abruptly disconnected. When I called back, she blamed “phone issues” and then admitted they had overcharged me, confirming that the medication should have been free with insurance. When I asked for a receipt or confirmation of the refund, she vaguely told me to "bring the receipt" and then, after speaking with someone, assured me the money would be refunded to my card within 1–2 days. I can only hope that the refund is processed smoothly so I don’t have to follow up with the same representative again. I genuinely liked the pharmacy and the pharmacist, but this is the second time we've had issues with the same representative regarding insurance, pricing, and customer service. Unfortunately, due to these repeated problems, we won’t be returning. While I appreciate the business itself, the lack of quality service and failure to ensure insurance is correctly applied to prescriptions is unacceptable.

Transferred all my medication over from Kroger and has been loving it ever since. The staff is so amazing and very helpful. Never a long wait time and everything is always in stock. I recommend any and everyone to support this local pharmacy.

I have been a steady customer for some town now having transferred from Walgreen's. Please know how wonderful and effective Dr. Clark's work is and consider transferring to him today. You will find him knowledgeable, steadfast and helpful beyond expectations. He answers all my questions and even found us a wonderful doctor for my sister who was here from MO and was diagnosed with bronchitis. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Clark.

Worst customer service experience I've had with a pharamcy. Details below and kind of long but they flat out lied and caused a lot of issues when the truth wasn't even bad. They were just being lazy and didn't want to explain the truth but then their lie ended up causing a lot of issues. They do not care at all about their clients. My doctor sent in a prescription for me very early. I take a rare med that most pharmacies have to order on demand because it's also expensive. Northtown ran it when they got it and the insurance said too early to fill. Which is fine. 3 days before I needed it to be filled i called them and asked them if they had my prescription. They told me they did not have one. So I called my doctor. They confirmed it was sent to northtown. So 2 days before I call northtown again and again they say they don't have the prescription from my doctor at all. So I call my doctor again. This time my doctor calls them and confirms they did recieve my prescription and even confirms with them that I should be able to fill it the next day. The day before I would be out of my med. So I call northtown that same day and confirm they recieved my prescription and asked them when i could pick it up. Northtown confirms they need to order it but it will be in the next day. The day before I run out of meds I call northtown and ask what time I would be able to pick up my med. I dont want to rush them. I was told they didn't order it and they would order it for the next day. I said oh yesterday you guys said it would be ordered and I could get it today. Northtown said we'll it wasn't ordered because you should have meds until tomorrow. I said ok no problem I'll just come by tomorrow then. The next day, the last day I have meds and it's a friday, I go to pick up my meds and again they said it wasn't ordered. That I would have to wait until the following Monday to get my meds. I said why? I've asked everyday this week for them to be ordered and be able to get them at the latest today (friday). The pharmacist said well your insurance rejected the order when we first tried so we didn't sent it again. I said wait that can't be right I talked to my insurance 3 days ago and they said the pharmacy could definitely order it on that day and they would pay for it. Northtown said yes we didnt try to run it through your insurance since they originally got the prescription, which was something like 2 weeks ago. I said let me get this straight. You guys lied and told me you didn't have the prescription multiple times, then when I called everyday this week asking you to order it because it's a rare med, and even my doctor talked with you guys, it still was not ordered or even ran through my insurance to see if it could be ordered? The pharmacist said well if insurance rejects it we can't order it. I said so if they reject it once you just don't try again? And my doctor even had to talk with you guys 2 days ago because you guys kept lying saying you didn't get the prescription to begin with. Northtown just said doesn't matter we can get it until Monday. I called my doctor who found a pharamcy himself that had only 4 days of my meds. He talked with Northtown and then instructed me to get the 4 days from another pharamcy then pick up my original prescription from Northtown on Monday and he confirmed with me that he directly spoke with northtown and told them this plan. When I went get my med on Monday, northtown said my doctor cancelled the prescription with them. So I called my doctor who confirmed that he did not cancel it and that they were suppose to fill it. Since they again didn't order it he helped me switch pharmacies entirely.

Such a beautiful store with amazing customer service and a very professional environment. Dr. Clark and his employees take their work very seriously, but will always welcome you with a bright “Good Morning” smile. They are committed to maintaining a great experience whether that be in-store, over the phone, or at the drive-thru window! Kindness and respect is truly a priority at Northtown and I’ll definitely do my business here from now on!
