I appreciate the staffs patience, willingness to adapt to any situation. The pharmacist (apologies I can't remember his name) is very helpful in dealing with the insurance side of things. Insurance gets confusing! I like to support the small town business. Keep it local.

Nice little pharmacy and overly priced gift shop...but so is every store in downtown Rhinelander. First time using the pharmacy. They were the only ones in town that had the prescription. They couldn't get my insurance to work, so I just paid out of pocket. The pharmacist and employees were friends.

There are so many things to love about the Rhinelander Hometown Pharmacy. Whenever I have any questions about my prescriptions, OTC meds, or supplements Dave has the answers. The pharmacy technicians and clerks are always pleasant and helpful. I was also able to get a little Christmas shopping done in their gift section. I highly recommend Hometown Pharmacy, I would be lost without them! :)

This is a great local pharmacy—a throw back to the good old days with friendly, caring and prompt service. Always have helpful suggestions and they work with you on insurance issues unlike the big box stores. It is a safe place to go where customers are not coughing all over the place. The Covid testing has state regulations and pharmacies get the testing done but it is the patient’s responsibility to check their results. Pharmacies do not get Covid testing results from the state.

I recommend that people go here with precaution if your prescribed to any scheduled substances. I understand we have problems locally but not everyone should be looked and greeted the way i was when i visited here. Not everyone abuses there medication and should not be stereotyped as one. I was told not to return unless I have been prescribed to a different medication I don't need or take, on my very first visit. I've been prescribed with no issues a little over a year n half thinking this was a great place to go being there prices were affordable and local. Called 2 weeks ahead and got a ok no problem to showing up and being treated very poorly and basically told not to return.

Most excellent! They have gone the extra mile for me when needed. I love that they send a text when your script is ready. Home town employees that you get to know and who get to know me! Love it!

Friendly staff that is unhelpful. They administer COVID tests on behalf of the State of Wisconsin, however, they don’t send you a confirmation email and they apparently don’t give you your test results (even though an automated text from Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services tells you the results were sent via email). So my test results are out there somewhere but I can’t get them. Thanks for wasting my time
