Bertrands Pharmacy

They are great. They always have your prescription ready to pick up. They take time to answer your guestions and concerns. A friendly staff too! I would give them 10 stars if I could.

After leaving the ER with my mother, I brought her prescriptions here to be filled. They informed us that 1 of the meds was no longer manufactured and that we would need to get them to call in something else. Despite all of this, we were still in and out of there within 15-20 minutes! Excellent service, as expected with local pharmacies.

After years of hassles with corporate pharmacies and logistics issues with mail order prescriptions, I did what should have been done twenty years ago when I moved to Gonzales from EBR, which is to shop local and I am so lucky that I did, and I have the wonderful staff at Bertrand's Pharmacy to thank for reinforcing the idea and proving to the good citizens of the city of Gonzales that old fashioned, community-focused customer service with a smile can indeed be combined with modern day efficiency and speed of service to deliver a customer experience that no corporate chain can even hope to match. It's an old school business, that can do everything*and more* that the big box pharmacies can do. Mr. Bertrand is a trusted local neighbor of mine, and one of the the local patriarchs and and a treasure of the lovely and historic Oak Terrace community and I consider him a friend and am lucky to have such quality folks as neighbors and pillars of this community and I am very pleased and honored to have the privilege of doing business with his family and associates Everyone is super friendly and everything that was communicated to me with the Pharmacist was simple and straightforward and any questions were addressed very expeditiously and with a smile. The cashier was very professional and respectful, and she was appropriately thorough with and took great care of all items from check in to validation to packaging, she did a great job. Overall an outstanding experience. My only regret about coming to Bertrand's is that I didn't do it two decades ago!!! Keep up the good work, this place knows what they are doing and certainly gets my praise and recognition with a 5-star review. Thanks, y'all!

My favorite home town pharmacy. They're sure to educate you on medication that may have some side effects, and always with amazing attitudes.

Has been my pharmacy for years and they have always got my meds when others could not get them for their customers.

Love them…they’re the best! Very friendly and helpful. Once I couldn’t afford my meds and they helped all the way. You can’t get that at any other pharmacy. I recommend everyone to them! 👌🏾 …

Disgusted by how the front workers are, They answer personal phone calls and facetime in front of customers talking loudly about other customers.... the younger guy and one of the girls keep Airpods in their ears even answering phones with them in and talking to customers. 2 of the girls were extremely rude to me when i asked about a product that they use to keep on the shelves. Not coming back cause they have gotten extremely disrespectful and Unprofessional, worst front staff they've had in the front.

I've been using them for years for my whole family... They call you by name and are friendly and very helpful! Although I've used others mostly during emergencies or out of town but this is definitely my favorite Pharmacy!!!!

I have been ill and Jeannie Bertrand (pharmacist/owner) came to my home to administer my Covid vaccine....I had never stepped foot in her pharmacy. But, that will change...they will get all of our business and I highly recommend them to family and friends!
